Claudia Silva is the teammate who steps in wherever support is needed, which is why she’s our September Guardian of the Month 🌟 Claudia plays a key role in keeping our mail operations running smoothly in the Correspondence department. She’s quick to help a teammate who’s stretched thin, and her commitment doesn’t stop at her own responsibilities. She cares about how the whole team does, and that shows up in the way she works every day. Congratulations, Claudia. This recognition is well deserved 👏 #GuardianOfTheMonth #EmployeeOfTheMonth #TeamWork

Paul Ryan prevailed at arbitration, securing zero dollar judgment. Paul established that the two agreements were materially different, preventing the plaintiff from proving which contract had been breached. When opposing counsel attempted to reframe the claim as Account Stated, Paul cited Rule 8 of the NC.R.CP, which requires notice for Accounts Stated claims. Without proper notice, the claim remained breach of contract and plaintiff could not prevail.

Darin So is our August Guardian of the Month. 🌟 Darin sits at the intersection of design and functionality, and the work he produces reflects both. He consistently takes on projects that require real technical depth and creative thinking. His client-facing work carries the same standard. Marketing landing pages, custom portal overlays, and our Guardian mobile and web apps all carry his fingerprint and it shows. What stands out most is how he approaches the work. He doesn't just build what's asked. He thinks through the experience and finds ways to make it better. Congratulations, Darin. Well deserved. 👏 #GuardianOfTheMonth #EmployeeOfTheMonth #GuardianLitigationGroup

Wendy Steward secured judgment for the defendant in breach of contract arbitration by identifying critical flaws in the plaintiff's documentation. The plaintiff introduced terms and conditions dated 2025 while relying on usage statements from before that date, undercutting the relevance of those terms. The plaintiff also appeared without the underlying contract and offered statements covering only 12 months. The arbitrator found the case fatally incomplete and ruled for the defendant.

The Irvine office came together this summer for an afternoon of food, games, and good company. It's always a good reminder of the people that make this place what it is. Hit play to see how the day went. 🎡 #GuardianLit #CompanyCulture #TeamBuilding

Turns out, our Jacksonville team is pretty competitive. This year's summer event took us to Game Show Battle Rooms for an evening of live game show challenges, team battles, and a catered dinner to close out the night. The energy was high and the bragging rights are still being debated. A big thank you to Game Show Battle Rooms for having us. Thanks also to everyone who came out and made it a great night. #GuardianLit #CompanyCulture #TeamBuilding

A debt resolution program can sound like a lifeline when credit card balances keep growing. But one question matters before the promises: what happens if the creditors say no? A couple on Reddit with $50K in credit card debt (29.99% interest) was considering a program where they'd deposit $930/month for 48 months to settle for a potential $5K reduction. They were concerned that the program might be a scam and worried creditors could refuse to settle. - https://lnkd.in/egYzEzCN Legitimate debt resolution involves real tradeoffs, including potential credit damage and continued collection activity. Understanding those risks is just as important as understanding the potential benefits. Many people believe myths that say that ignoring debt will make it disappear, that collections mean they have lost all their rights, or that overwhelming debt means there are no options left to explore. The reality is more nuanced. Consumer decisions are often shaped by advice and misinformation.
