  • Seasonal workload surges are a fact of life for state administrators of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). Too often, though, teams treat peak volume as one big backlog—a mountain of casework to be chipped away at as fast as possible. This past weekend, Team Guidehouse was out in full force at the 42nd Annual AUSA Army Ten-Miler. With more than 30,000 runners taking part, our volunteers pitched in after the race, helping participants recover and make sure their dry gear was ready for them at the finish. A huge thank you to our colleagues who showed up to support the Army community and everyone who made this year's race one to remember. #armystrong

  • Still reflecting on a wonderful day at Audi Field. Guidehouse Family Day is an opportunity to celebrate the people behind our work and the family members, friends, and support systems that make it possible. From player meet-and-greets and locker room tours to family-friendly activities and community engagement opportunities, it was inspiring to see colleagues and their loved ones come together for a day of connection and fun. Thank you to everyone who joined us, and to our partners at D.C. United and the USO for helping create an experience that brought our community together in a meaningful way. • Organ procurement and transplantation is one of the most complex, time-sensitive, and operationally demanding functions in healthcare. That's why it's so important that the clinicians, patients, caregivers, and support staff involved have the information they need to enable high-quality, timely care. As a part of our work modernizing the U.S. Organ Procurement & Transplantation Network, we worked with the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) to upgrade technology and strengthen data reporting for its patient information and support service, OPTN 411.
