As a founder, you need to expect uncertainty at all times. My corporate job made me really good at establishing boundaries and planning ahead. Being a founder throws all of these learnings in the trash. In my 9 to 5 I knew exactly what workout class I was hitting and when dinner was happening. As a founder, none of that exists anymore. Plan less. Adjust more.

Nothing in the world will humble you faster than starting a small business. Building something from scratch strips away all pretense. It forces you to wear every hat, solve problems you didn't know existed, and ask for help when you're out of your depth. It’s exhausting, but it’s also the ultimate crash course in resilience, empathy, and leadership. To every business owner out there rolling up their sleeves and getting dirty: you’re building real character alongside a real business.

Here’s our recap of Gusto Next in under 60 seconds. For one day, we brought accounting leaders from across the country into one room to build the future of this industry together. Hands-on workshops, honest roundtables, and real conversations about where this profession is headed. And we didn’t come empty-handed either: a redesigned Gusto Pro, a new multi-client MCP, and major upgrades to the Gusto Partner Program. Learn all about it here 👇 https://lnkd.in/gwgwNbpi
