  • On September 24, 2026, BNA® conducted its FAA‑required full-scale emergency drill. These mandated drills are required by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and help us practice and refine our emergency response protocols. We are committed to preparing for the unexpected, with passenger safety always our top priority. Thank you to everyone who participated in this exercise as we work daily to prepare for the unexpected and maintain the safety and security of our airport! Watch the video below for a glimpse into this exercise.

  • Thank you, MTSU Chapter of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE), for coming out to BNA® this weekend. They joined our airside operations team for a tour of our Emergency Operations Center, Airport Communications Center, and different parts of the airfield. We always enjoy connecting with the next generation of aviation professionals.

  • C'est la vie! This morning, in partnership with Air France , we held a press conference to officially announce and celebrate the launch of a new nonstop international air service between Nashville and Paris–Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG), beginning May 14, 2027. This milestone has been years in the making and would not have been possible without the partnership of the Governor's Office, the Mayor's Office, the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development, and the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp., and all our local, state, and federal partners. The Nashville–Paris connection will enhance Nashville's international profile and provide Middle Tennesseans with new opportunities to explore Europe and destinations around the world, further strengthening BNA's expanding portfolio of international nonstop routes. • BNA® FYI! Starting October 20, the entrance to Terminal Garage 1 will close. To park in one of the Terminal Garages, drivers will pass the closed Garage 1 entrance and continue straight to the Terminal Garage 2 entrance. You’ll take a parking ticket as usual, then have the option to either park in Garage 2 or continue into Garage 1. To reach Garage 1, turn right immediately after entering Garage 2. Continue straight down the row until the end, then turn left. The parking helix will be on your right and will take you to additional Garage 1 levels. When leaving, you’ll exit exactly the way you entered. Proceed down the Garage 1 helix to P2, re‑enter Garage 2, and follow signage to exit through the Garage 2 plaza. Drivers should follow posted wayfinding signage to keep traffic flowing smoothly. That means: • Access to both garages will be routed through Garage 2. • No entry or exit will be available at Garage 1 plazas. • Parking procedures remain the same, just with a consolidated point of access. These changes support the construction of the new, bigger, better rental car facility and parking garage, as well as other long‑term improvements under the New Horizon program, enhancing airport access, traffic flow, and parking operations for all passengers. Please continue allowing a few extra minutes while getting used to these traffic routing changes, and watch for posted signage for guidance throughout the terminal garages.
