Operation Blessing

Disaster relief begins with the resources and partnerships that make a timely response possible. Thanks to The Home Depot Foundation's continued support, Operation Blessing was able to lend a helping hand to those affected by Hurricane Isaias in Pensacola, Florida. We’re incredibly grateful to the Bobby Allison Fund for awarding Operation Blessing a Stronger Pathways Grant to empower youth in Springfield, Missouri! Through this generous partnership, young people will gain hands-on experience with an indoor vertical farming system while learning about nutrition, food production, and sustainable agriculture, all while helping increase access to fresh, healthy food in their community. The grant will also support vocational training and mentorship for youth participating in an entrepreneurship pilot, giving them practical skills, guidance, and opportunities to build a brighter future. Thank you, Bobby Allison Fund, for partnering with us to cultivate stronger communities, new opportunities, and brighter futures! #OperationBlessing #BobbyAllisonFund #StrongerPathways #YouthEmpowerment #SpringfieldMO #SustainableAgriculture #VerticalFarming #Entrepreneurship #StrongerCommunities #BrighterFutures

This Labor Day, we’re reflecting on the purpose and impact of meaningful work. Colossians 3:23 reminds us: “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord…” At Operation Blessing, we’ve seen firsthand how work can become an opportunity to serve others and make a lasting difference. From disaster response and humanitarian aid to providing clean water, food and hope, every effort matters when it’s driven by a heart to serve. Today, we’re grateful for the people who show up, work hard and use their gifts to make a difference in the lives of others. May we approach our work—not simply as a job, but as an opportunity to serve with excellence, purpose and compassion. Happy Labor Day!

Our hearts are with the people of Venezuela. On June 24, two powerful earthquakes changed countless lives in an instant. Families are grieving as they mourn unimaginable loss. Many have been injured, others are missing, and communities are facing the difficult days ahead. Our president, Drew Friedrich, MBA is on his way to join the Operation Blessing teams already serving on the ground. We invite you to pray for his safe travels, for the strength and protection of our teams, and for every family affected by this disaster. May those who are hurting find comfort, those who have lost everything find hope, and those still waiting for help know they are not forgotten.
