Prometheus Hyperscale's Evanston campus has reached another milestone! With a letter from the State's Industrial Siting Council, the project's data center and power facility have now received construction and operating permits. We look forward to moving into the next phase of development and to building infrastructure that creates jobs, drives investment, strengthens local communities, and supports America's digital future. #Wyoming #DataCenters #AI #EconomicDevelopment #BuildWyoming #PrometheusHyperscale

Revolutionizing Hyperscale Data Center Infrastructure
About us
Prometheus Hyperscale puts energy first in powering the age of intelligence. By harnessing cleaner energy, Prometheus is building next-generation, liquid-cooled hyperscale data centers to deliver sustainable, efficient, and scalable infrastructure for AI and the digital economy. Led by seasoned energy executives and deeply experienced data center developers, Prometheus uses proprietary geothermal technology that enables zero water use, setting a new standard for sustainable infrastructure. Prometheus is redefining how data centers are built—driving innovation, sustainability, and speed to unlock a cleaner, smarter future.

What does it mean to build the infrastructure powering the next era of computing? It means building not only for the future, but alongside the communities that will make that future possible. For Prometheus, that means investing not only in technology, but in the people, businesses, and communities that help bring these projects to life. In Wyoming, we're building upon strengths that already exist: abundant energy resources, a skilled workforce, and a long tradition of supporting major infrastructure projects. Our goal is simple: create infrastructure that supports the future of computing while creating meaningful opportunities for Wyoming workers, businesses, and communities. Prometheus Hyperscale’s Uinta County project reached another milestone this week, with the Uinta County Commission approving the Conditional Use Permit for the project’s independent power production facility. The on-site, off-grid power strategy is designed to be developed in phases alongside the data center, allowing the project to scale with demand while maintaining oversight throughout construction and development. The power facility is also expected to create up to 250 construction jobs at peak and approximately 25 permanent positions once operational, while the broader project is projected to generate significant new tax revenue for Uinta County and surrounding communities. We appreciate the Uinta County Herald for covering the discussion and the county’s review of this next step for the project. AI infrastructure needs more than servers. It needs power. As demand for AI compute continues to grow, access to reliable power is becoming one of the biggest challenges facing large-scale data center development. With grid capacity constrained and timelines for new connections stretching longer, Prometheus Hyperscale’s energy-first approach helps address the growing bottleneck. Community benefits mean more when they come with accountability. Part of Prometheus’ community commitments include prioritizing local hiring and investing in workforce development. In Wyoming, this commitment is already taking shape through Build Wyoming. Our early efforts have included community conversations, local events, and a 2026 contribution to the Construction Technology Facility at Eastern Wyoming College. As Prometheus advances its work in Uinta and Natrona counties, Build Wyoming will continue to grow with the communities it is designed to serve, helping expand pathways into skilled trades, technical careers, and the workforce needed to build Wyoming’s next generation of infrastructure. For Prometheus, responsible development means building with accountability from the start and ensuring the communities where we build share in the long-term value these projects create. Data centers power much of modern life, and AI is accelerating the need for reliable compute capacity at a scale few people see but nearly everyone depends on. Online banking. Video calls. Streaming. Cloud services. The apps we open every day. Behind each of them is the data center infrastructure that keeps our digital lives running. As digital demand grows, especially with the rapid advancement of AI, the question is no longer whether more compute capacity is needed. It is how that infrastructure gets built reliably, responsibly, and at the speed and scale required. Prometheus is developing purpose-built hyperscale data centers to help meet that demand. We’re building the infrastructure the digital economy needs today, and the foundation for what comes next. From the article: “The potential boost in county tax revenue comes as municipalities across Wyoming face declining revenues, driven in large part by residential property tax relief measures passed by the legislature in recent years. An additional $80 million to $115 million in annual property tax revenue would make the data center campus the county’s largest single taxpayer and boost the tax base by 70%, an increase that would support libraries, roads, public health, the fire district and other essential services.” #datacenter #wyoming

Thank you for the coverage Oil City News of Prometheus Hyperscale's partnership with Mesa Power Solutions. “Mesa’s manufacturing capabilities in Casper have proven they can fulfill our vision of on-site, locally powered compute,” Prometheus Hyperscale President Trevor Neilson. “We said we would build with Wyoming companies and Wyoming workers, and this collaboration reflects that commitment.” Want to read the article? 🔗 https://lnkd.in/gVhzNuWC #natronacounty #wyomingenergy #buildwyoming
