Qualcomm and Liquid AI advancing on-device intelligence with Liquid Context on Snapdragon platforms. Continuous multimodal sensing generates gigabytes of raw data per minute, creating a critical memory bottleneck for edge devices. Liquid Context resolves this by compressing real-time visual, audio, and text inputs into compact memory representations optimized for low-power execution. Platform architecture benefits: • Reduced system RAM and storage overhead during continuous background sensing • Accelerated context retrieval speeds for local AI agents • Optimized compute execution across Snapdragon hardware engines Watch Ramin Hasani, Co-founder and CEO of Liquid AI, explain the engineering behind Liquid Context at #SnapdragonSummit.

Qualcomm Statement on Trial Verdict Win: We are gratified that the jury found Arm breached its long-standing Architectural License Agreement (ALA) with Qualcomm, failed to honor its commitments, and intentionally acted to disrupt Qualcomm's businesses. Together with Qualcomm's prior court victory, this outcome further exposes Arm’s broader intentions to harm Qualcomm and its ecosystem. This outcome is a victory for innovation and competition, and we remain focused on developing and delivering industry-leading semiconductor products including our Oryon CPUs to customers and consumers worldwide.    https://lnkd.in/gySaQbzf

“The network can see everything that moves, everything that flies.” That line from Qualcomm CEO Cristiano R. Amon stopped me. I was inside Qualcomm’s 6G labs, seeing what his team is building. Think about a wireless network that could help detect drones. AI models interpreting how radio waves move through the physical world, with processing happening at the radio base station. The bigger shift is what this could mean beyond connectivity. Networks could eventually help us sense what’s happening around us, with significant implications for national security, cybersecurity and the protection of critical infrastructure. And there’s a business question here, too. If networks can do more than carry information, they could enable entirely new applications and markets. Connectivity is becoming sensing. That changes not just what networks can do, but who will depend on them. The commercial rollout of 6G is still ahead of us, but the work shaping it is happening now. Full conversation with Cristiano on "How They Run with Ryan Patel" is out on Yahoo Finance! What would you want a network to be able to detect that it can't today? Love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!
