Small businesses are a critical source of innovation for the Department of War, particularly in AI, digital, and data technologies. Connecting those innovations to real acquisition pathways is key to moving capability to the mission. The SBIR/STTR Aisle on the #TradewindsSolutionsMarketplace has now surpassed 200 readily Awardable companies, providing government teams with visibility into a growing set of pre-competed, Phase III-eligible solutions developed through the SBIR and STTR programs. The Tradewinds SBIR/STTR Aisle was established to help government customers more quickly discover and evaluate SBIR/STTR technologies that have already completed a competitive review process. Solutions featured in the Aisle are eligible for follow-on awards under SBIR/STTR Phase III authority, helping accelerate the transition of innovative capabilities into mission use. For small businesses, the SBIR/STTR Aisle offers a direct path to showcase Phase III-eligible solutions to government buyers. For government teams, it provides a streamlined way to identify and access technologies aligned with DoD priorities in AI, digital, and data.
