Last week, Girls Who Invest brought together scholars, alumni, and partners at its annual gala to celebrate opening doors to careers in investment management. We were honored to be there. Congratulations to Gregory Davis, Vanguard President and Chief Investment Officer, on receiving the Power of Partnership Award. Fitting that it was presented by Nisha Honnaya, a GWI alum and member of our crew. We were proud to join colleagues, GWI alumni, and partners from across the industry in support of GWI's mission. Since its founding, GWI has reached nearly 5,000 scholars, and since 2023, we’ve had the opportunity to engage with 1,600 of them. Congratulations as well to fellow honorees Theresia Gouw and Thomas K. Lee. The future of investing is being built right now, and it's in great hands.

VetsConnect and BOLD recently welcomed Gordon Smith, whose father, Captain Luther H. Smith, was a Tuskegee Airman who flew 133 combat missions during World War II. Through personal stories and family perspectives, attendees were inspired by lessons of courage, resilience, and service while learning more about the legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen. Attendees also explored historical artifacts and memorabilia, including medals, photographs, and other items from Captain Smith's remarkable journey.
