Thank you to our partners at Delta Air Lines and Head Of The Charles Regatta for their $15,000 investment in the Y’s Swim Safe programming, helping make lifesaving swim instruction accessible to more Greater Boston youth! Last weekend, our YMCA Early Education families, educators and leaders came together at Lookout Farm in Natick, MA to celebrate Rosh Hashanah. 🍎🍯 This event kicked off our Building Togetherness curriculum - an initiative designed to help children explore their own cultural identities while learning about the traditions of others. A back-to-school giveback, back home. Over the weekend, Washington WizardsWashington Wizards AJ DybantsaAJ Dybantsa came back home to his hometown of Boston to hand out school supplies to students and teachers at the Huntington Avenue YMCA, in partnership with the YMCA of Greater Boston, the AJ Dybantsa Foundation, and World Vision. AJ shared, "I always want to make room for this because education is so important to me and my family."

There are many unsung Massachusetts heroes who have put others first during a time of crisis in order to perform selfless and heroic tasks to keep our communities safe. From emergency professionals to community leaders, first responders and youth advocates, these heroes don’t have to wear capes for us to honor their courageous acts of service. We were proud to host Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts for their 16th annual Blue Cross Service Day at Camp Ponkapoag! 34 volunteers cleaned up the campground to get ready for winter, storing picnic benches and tables, shining up the pool deck, tidying up bathrooms and cabins, and fixing the road leading to camp. Thank you Blue Cross Blue Shield for your continued partnership and lasting impact on the Y community! #ServiceDay2026
