Updates

  • Noise is part of many job sites, but how loud it gets and how long you’re exposed both matter. This National Protect Your Hearing Month, take a closer look at the noise around you and the hearing protection you use.

  • Depending on the type of work you’re doing, you’ll want to tailor your pipe cutter to the job, not just the pipe. Consider how many cuts you’ll be making, the level of control you’ll need, and your setup’s portability. Swipe through for a quick breakdown of when to go cordless vs. manual, then check out our full guide for even more tips. https://bit.ly/4AjPmcK

  • Precision isn’t just “best practice.” It’s what keeps your operation moving. The right measurements, the right tools—you know that small margins come with big stakes. That’s why we’re celebrating the people who work hard to get the details right. Happy Manufacturing Month.

  • Good customer service starts with people who listen, understand, and make things easier. This Customer Service Week, we’re celebrating our entire team—and introducing you to a few of them. Swipe to meet Angela, Byron, Carma, and Kathy.

  • Learning, connecting, and spending time with some incredible women in tech. Members of our Digital Experience and Technology teams joined technologists and innovators from across the industry at the Chicago Women in Tech Conference to exchange perspectives, explore the opportunities and challenges shaping tech, and make new connections across the Chicago tech community.

  • Nothing beats meeting in person. It’s how we learn best from each other, like we did with our team members on the front lines of customer service in Janesville. Bringing our Zoro Leadership Group together gave us the chance to listen, learn, and better understand the customer experience. These conversations help us see what’s working, where we can do better, and how we can make it even easier for our customers to get the job done. See more reflections on the day from our president, Sandy Mattinson.

One of the most valuable ways to get closer to our customers is to spend time with the teams who support them every day. That’s why Zoro's leadership team invests time in Janesville, Wisconsin. Janesville is home to many of our frontline teams who see customer needs firsthand — answering calls, processing refunds and returns, and managing credit. For our latest Zoro Leadership Group meeting, we focused on the end-to-end fulfillment journey and what it takes to deliver a seamless experience with every order. We processed returns, listened to customer escalations, and even tested our knowledge with a competitive round of Credit & Collections Jeopardy! We also make sure there’s time to laugh, connect and have some fun together. The better we know each other, the better we work together — especially when the challenges get hard. Thank you to our frontline teams across our customer service, warehouse operations and financial services teams for the work you do every day. And thank you to the Zoro.com leadership group for showing up curious, engaged and ready to learn. It’s always a blast!
