The primary focus of this position is an application development team member that will perform development and maintenance of DMH enterprise applications using C#, SQL Server, and MVC. Duties include analysis, design, coding, code reviews, testing, implementation, and mentoring. Personal interactions with Business Owners and other team members are required, as is research and troubleshooting of complex problems. The successful candidate for this position needs to have a technical background. Candidate must be effective working collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently as circumstances dictate.

This position is with the Office of Administration, Information Technology Services Division (OA-ITSD) supporting the Department of mental Health (DMH).

• Analyze requirements and develop code to meet business needs.

• Development experience using ASP.Net MVC framework and .Net Core.
• Development experience using C#, SQL, JQuery, HTML, and CSS.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Solid understanding of Responsive Web Design and Agile methodology.
• Familiarity with Web Accessibility methods is preferred.
• Able to work independently and on a team.
• Development experience in Azure is a plus.
• Experience using an AI development assistant is a plus.
• Successful background check results are required for employment in this position. This may include background checks involving a candidate’s name and/or fingerprints and other screenings as needed for the specific position.
