Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable enterprise applications and backend services. The successful candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, and RESTful API development. The Developer will work across the full application lifecycle, developing reliable backend solutions, integrating with relational and non-relational databases, implementing automated testing, and supporting applications within AWS and Linux environments. What will you do? * Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise Java applications and backend services.
Write clean, scalable, maintainable, and efficient Java code supporting business applications.
Design and develop backend applications using Spring and Spring Boot.
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs supporting web applications and enterprise services.
Utilize Spring Data JPA for database persistence and application data access.
Design, write, and optimize database queries across relational and non-relational databases.
Develop and maintain applications integrating with Oracle databases.
Deploy and support Java applications within Apache Tomcat environments.
Develop and support applications within Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments.
Work within Linux-based environments for application development, deployment, and troubleshooting.
Participate throughout the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Troubleshoot application defects, performance issues, and integration problems.
Perform unit testing and application validation using JUnit and Mockito.
Participate in code reviews and promote Java development best practices.
Utilize source control, build, and CI/CD technologies including Git and Jenkins.
Collaborate with developers, engineers, analysts, and other technical stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Do you have what it takes? * Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
7-10 years of professional software development experience.
