How to manage Lean Six Sigma projects
- Welcome to the continuation of how to manage Lean Six Sigma projects. In the previous course, part one, I covered selection and planning and the define and measure phases of the DMAIC. In this course, part two, I will continue and cover how to manage Lean Six Sigma projects through the analyze, improve, and control phases. Hi, I'm Dr. Richard Chua, Author, Certified Master Black Belt Trainer, Consultant, and Professor. Over the past 30 years, I've trained and coached executives, project leaders, and teams in Fortune 500 and multinational companies across the globe in deploying Lean Six Sigma. I know you are eager to start this course, but wait, before you do, please make sure you've competed the prerequisite courses. Here's the recommended sequence of the prerequisite courses. I showed you this in part one, but notice, part one is now on the list. Make sure you watch it. The point of this course is to set you up to lead and manage Lean Six Sigma projects, not to relearn topics or review what you already should know. For example, I will not reteach you on how to analyze a value stream map or draw an FMEA, nor will I cover statistics or how to use Minitab. All that was covered in the prerequisite courses. So please review or rewatch those courses if you have not done so yet, or if you want to refresh your knowledge and improve your understanding. In the exercise files, I have included a handbook. This is a collection of handouts, templates and checklists. I've also developed a learning roadmap, listing specific link and learning videos that support the topics being discussed in this course. This learning board map is also in the handbook. With all of these resources, I know you will benefit from this course. Have fun learning how to manage Lean Six Sigma projects.
