- Similar to the way that we worked on the blemishes earlier on in this course, we're going to take a look at the lips and just do some general cleanup work using some of the same tools that we used earlier, but this time we're going to use them to clean up the lips. I want to do all of this work on a new empty layer. So I'll select the top most layer in my Layers palette, and then I'm going to go down to the bottom of my Layers palette and choose the Add New Layer icon. And we'll go ahead and double-click this and call it "lip clean up." And for this, I'd like to use my Healing Brush tool. The reason why I want to use this tool is because I want to really be in control of where the tool samples in order to make the best fix for the area. We have such a limited amount of space on the lips, so we really need to make sure that we control where Photoshop samples when we're using this tool. You also want to make sure…
