Being part of a community that wants to see you excel in every single way is what being in The Outlier Project means. I often say we just do life differently. We’re focused on the person in front of us. How can we support them in their journey? Whether they’re an executive or an entrepreneur, it’s about more than networking. It’s about building something greater and having fun while doing it. We just don’t BS our way through life in this room. We rise over and over again even when it’s hard. When I received this award, I was in the depths of creating the Warrior Defined men’s event with Trevor M.. There were some hard moments we faced - Yet we did it👏🏼 And when you’re in the middle of those moments, having someone say, “Candice, you’re doing a freaking amazing job. Keep going,” hits you a little differently. Sometimes, that encouragement helps you see what you’re building again, especially when you’ve been so deep in the work that you’ve lost sight of how far you’ve come. I’m grateful I chose to invest in this community. That investment has returned to me many times over through connection, support, friendship, and people who truly want to see each other succeed.
