Congratulations to the 2026 graduates of The Anchors of Excellence Leadership Series at Austal! 🎓 More than 300 emerging and current leaders, representing every corner of the organization from senior administration to the skilled trades that bring ships to life—participated in this multi-month, activity-rich leadership development experience. Developed through a collaboration between Austal senior leadership and the Alabama Technology Network (ATN) Leadership Management Development (LMD) department, the series focused on the practical skills leaders use every day: ✔ Understanding people through DiSC personality profiles ✔ Communicating with clarity and purpose ✔ Successfully transitioning from peer to supervisor ✔ Solving problems and making sound decisions ✔ Motivating and influencing others ✔ Leading with emotional intelligence ✔ Managing time and resolving conflict ✔ Coaching others to grow The most exciting part? Seeing leaders from across the shipbuilding process invest in themselves, strengthen connections, and earn their certificates of completion.
