Our BAE Systems Anti Threat System (BATS) team has successfully demonstrated its counter-drone innovation during live trials in Scotland, validating a fully integrated approach to detecting, assessing and countering uncrewed air threats. By combining sensing, command and control, electronic warfare and effectors within a single architecture, BATS gives operators the tools to respond to threats faster and with greater confidence. This latest milestone reflects our continued investment in advancing counter-UxS capabilities that help customers outpace evolving threats. Learn more 🔗 http://baes.co/fwac50ZTp6G
What I find particularly relevant is the effort to shorten the path from detection to response. Against rapidly evolving drone threats, the speed at which information can be processed, assessed and translated into action may become just as important as the performance of the individual systems involved. This is where the integration of sensors, C2, electronic warfare and effectors can deliver a significant operational advantage.
Bringing sensing, command and control and effectors under one architecture is the hard part, and it's great to see it proven in live trials. Faster, more confident decisions for operators is exactly the right goal.
Live trial it in Kiev now.
Great milestone for the BAE Systems team! Integrated capabilities like these are increasingly important as defense requirements continue to evolve.
One Rocket and you are done. That won't stop or save you from death, for sure 100%
