Huawei's intelligent automotive unit Newcool has formally joined CATL's Choco battery swap ecosystem, and Cailian reports the partnership's first model is planned for 2027 under Epicland. The framework agreement, signed October 19 with CATL and its swap operator CAES, targets connecting vehicle, station and cloud systems so real-time battery status and travel patterns can anticipate energy needs and schedule swaps proactively. The stated roadmap includes vehicles autonomously locating a station, entering and aligning themselves, then departing after a fully automated swap completed in 99 seconds. 🔋 Newcool will work with strategic partners to make vehicles running Huawei Qiankun solutions compatible with the Choco network.
