The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine are seeking experts to participate in a new study assessing vehicle efficiency technology, with a focus on Class 2b and 3 vehicles (heavy-duty pickups and vans, often used for towing and hauling). The study will consider focus on projected capabilities, costs, and barriers for deploying fuel economy technologies in the 2030-2040 time range.
