This year’s theme, Unidos, Somos Más (Together, We Are More), centers the strength that comes from community and the many cultures, languages, and traditions that make up Hispanic and Latin culture. We celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month with a hands-on empanada experience, a visit from Hayward High engineering students, and a coffee tour and tasting featuring coffee sourced from Hispanic and Latin growers and roasters. These moments were all about connection and belonging.
