The Neighborhood

After moving his family from the Midwest to a Black Los Angeles neighborhood, Dave tries to earn the trust of his no-nonsense next-door neighbor Calvin.

When a pipe bursts in the Johnsons' home, Calvin reluctantly helps Dave make repairs while Gemma uncovers a surprising secret about her neighbor Tina.

Dave gives Calvin a spare house key as a sign of trust and is thrilled when he returns the gesture — or so he thinks.

When everyone but Calvin accepts Dave and Gemma's housewarming invitation, Dave finally confronts his neighbor about refusing to welcome his family.

Game night deals Gemma a chance to right a past wrong while Malcolm makes a bold play for a fresh start with his father, Calvin.

Dave's romantic anniversary plans strand him and Gemma in a hotel elevator, while babysitters Calvin and Tina face a hunger strike from young Grover.

Dave visits Calvin's longtime barbershop and quickly charms the staff and other customers, much to Calvin's annoyance at sharing his favorite retreat.

The Johnsons host their first Thanksgiving in Los Angeles, where Dave's outspoken mother turns dinner tense when she meets the Butler family.

When Calvin and Tina learn Marty has a new girlfriend, they insist he bring Chloe to dinner — but their eager welcome serves up surprising results.

When Malcolm refuses to identify who stole his sneakers, Calvin and Dave team up to find the culprit while Tina gives Gemma a lesson in self-defense.
