- Aue Nai (talk • contribs • new items • new lexemes • SUL • Block log • User rights log • User rights • xtools)
I have been active on Wikimedia projects since 2019. I am currently an administrator on the Mon Wikipedia, where I have made over 11,000 edits.
On Wikidata, I mainly work on Mon-language (mnw) content: creating and improving Mon lexemes, adding forms and senses, linking lexemes to items, and adding Mon labels and descriptions to items. I also check new Mon lexemes made by other contributors and fix mistakes in them.
Very few active Wikidata editors can read Mon, so vandalism, test edits and low-quality or duplicate Mon lexemes often go unnoticed, or wait a long time for an administrator who can judge them. I would like administrator rights to:
- handle deletion requests involving Mon-language items and lexemes, and delete obvious tests and vandalism
- block vandalism-only accounts and protect pages that are repeatedly vandalised
- help other Mon contributors and answer questions about Mon content
I am familiar with Wikidata:Deletion policy, Wikidata:Notability, Wikidata:Blocking policy and Wikidata:Lexicographical data. I will use the tools mainly for Mon-language content, where I have the language knowledge to make correct decisions, and I will leave cases outside my experience to more experienced administrators.
Thank you for considering my request. --Aue Nai (talk) 06:20, 9 October 2026 (UTC)reply

Neutral The language support is good, plus they already have experience as an admin on other projects, but I find the lack of activity in administrative areas like WD:RFD and WD:PC a bit concerning. Jianhui67 T★C 04:44, 11 October 2026 (UTC)reply

Weak oppose per Jianhui67; will gladly change my vote once such activity (also on WD:AN) occurs. Mahir256 (talk) 12:35, 14 October 2026 (UTC)reply
