A former director of a church youth group in Pennsylvania invoked God as he molested a young boy decades ago, authorities said Friday.

Richard Garnett, who previously worked as the "games director" at Roaring Brook Baptist Church in Hunlock Creek, on Thursday was convicted of sexual assault and child endangerment, Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday announced.

Senator Thom Tillis said Republicans should not be considered disloyal for disagreeing with President Donald Trump, arguing that some White House officials place too much emphasis on loyalty to Trump and should accept policy differences within the party.

The North Carolina Republican made the remarks to reporters on Thursday, adding another chapter to a year-long pattern of public breaks with the Trump administration over the Iran war, Cabinet officials, Justice Department matters and other issues.

A legal dispute between Dolly Parton's longtime manager and her nephew Bryan Seaver could turn into a lengthy and expensive court battle, an attorney has told Newsweek.

Earlier this week, Danny Nozell, the country legend's manager, filed a request for a restraining order against Seaver, who was head of security for Parton and announced her death to the world on August 25.

In a filing on behalf of She's Alive LLC, a company Parton set up before her death to manage and protect her business interests, Nozell asked for a restraining order against Seaver, alleging he had engaged in a campaign of threats, intimidation and extortion.
