Working together with Brandon Rossen Photography we created an infographic about "What is an Infographic?"

This infographic has had phenomenal success. Originally posted on visual.ly it was then featured on Mashable, Design Taxi, and NPR and  amongst others.

This was a really fun infographic to create because we got to play with Lego.  Check out the behind the scenes studio shots on our blog.

We were commissioned by Visual.ly to create an infographic heavy on facts about Lego minifigs. We tried to create something that not only looked really cool but made it easy to digest all the information. We were lucky enough to have this infographic featured on the Facebook Fan Page for The Lego Movie, Design Taxi and Bit Rebels among others.

Following the numerous shooting incidents in the US we felt compelled to create an infographic that expressed our opinion on the topical issue of gun control.

This is our recipe for success.

No preservatives, only fresh ideas.

Cooking time

Overnight success should take aprox 5-10 years

Ingredients

American Creative Director (Brandon) x 1

Australian Graphic Designer (Karyn) x 1

Fresh Apple products - the more the better - macs, ipads, etc x 1kg

Unlimited coffee x 2

Bad ideas x 100

Good idea x 1

A heaping spoonful of inspiration (adjust to taste)

Handful of creativity x 1

Method

Take one American male and one Australian female. Place in studio and mix gently until married. Take one hundred bad ideas, work them for a few minutes, throw them out. Use one good idea. Mix one good idea together with two spoonfuls of inspiration. Beat until smooth. Slowly fold in a handful of creativity. Simmer on low heat. Don't bring to boil! Set aside to cool.

Serve with hot butter
