Does this apply to any club type? I have heard from others that the wedge clubs are the only ones that should be leaning forward when hitting. All other clubs should be centered with your body. ??
Well definitely there is shaft lean on any shot, unless it is a specialty shot or if someone needs to “feel” less to no shaft lean for various reasons… but for the average player any degree of shaft lean is important.
Any club that is used to hit a ball that's sitting on the ground should have some degree of forward shaft lean at impact except for specialty shots like flop shots, greenside bunker shots and certain chip/ pitch shots
