About Home Depot
For years, The Home Depot's tag line has been "How doers get more done," and that perfectly sums up the retailer's goal. The first two The Home Depot stores opened in Atlanta in 1979; now the chain is a billion-dollar enterprise with more than 2,300 stores across North America. It's become the world's largest home-improvement chain and many a do-it-yourselfer's go-to source for tools, appliances, home-improvement supplies, paint and garden gear. Home Depot also offers over 400 professional services, from carpet installation to painting, plumbing and furniture assembly. Customers can rent tools, trucks and other large equipment to assist with projects big and small.

You can track your Home Depot order four ways: If you have an account, log in and go to the "Order Status" page. If you checked out as a guest, go to the "Track Your Order" page, then enter the order number and the email address used during checkout. You can also use your shipping confirmation email, which includes a direct link for tracking. Finally, you can track and manage orders through the Home Depot app.
Most items (with the exception of furniture, generators, consumer electronics like TVs and a few other buys) can be returned within 90 days with proof of purchase. This includes plants, though perennials, trees, roses and shrubs have a one-year guarantee and can be returned for store credit. If you made your purchase with a Home Depot credit card, you generally have 365 days from date of purchase to receive a full refund.
You can choose a delivery date during checkout. Home Depot offers same-day, free next-day and scheduled deliveries. You can also arrange a pick-up from your local store, which is free.
Active service members, veterans and their spouses receive 10% off eligible Home Depot purchases. You will have to verify your military status through a third-party vendor.
You can apply for a Home Depot credit card online or in store. A Home Depot card comes with certain bonuses, like 24-month financing on certain items and 365-day returns.
