The best Walmart deals this week include sales on HP, Bissell, Michael Kors and more

Summer may be coming to an end, but Walmart sales are going strong — get up to 85% off everything you need for the new season.

Senior Deals Writer

Now that we're getting deeper into September, all those fall, back-to-school feels are flooding back. The crisp air and blue skies; school buses tootling down the street; a few errant leaves on the ground foreshadowing the beauty of what's to come. It feels like the old days, but instead of trying to score the coolest gear for school, I'm taking my adult money and putting it toward some much-needed upgrades. Walmart has plenty of deals to make 'em easier on the budget, including an over-$100 price cut on a sleek HP Chromebook Laptop, an under-$100 stainless steel fire pit and even a Shark Navigator vacuum for a sweet $81 off. These must-buys and more beckon, so let's dabble in some deals, shall we?

Top Walmart deals this weekend

Before we peruse the top Walmart deals, there's a truly fabulous markdown elsewhere that I need to put on your radar: For a limited time, you can score an annual Paramount+ subscription for a total steal. Considering we're almost in binge-watching season, it's a great time to take advantage.

This is one of the best streaming service markdowns we've seen in a hot second — you're getting a year-long membership for 30 bucks (50% off)! Often, these offers only extend to new subscribers, but this deal happens to apply to returning members as well.

With the more basic Essential plan, you'll have access to more than 40,000 TV episodes and movies, plus you'll be able to stream on three devices at a time. For $60 a year, you can opt for the Premium plan, which means no ads (aside from live TV) and download capability.

After your first year, you'll be charged the standard $60 per year ($120 for Premium), but this deal is an ideal opportunity to try it out for a steal.

With this popular trio, you'll get a 20-inch carry-on, a 24-inch checked bag and a 28-inch suitcase that's so roomy, you'll never have to sacrifice shoes in the name of space. (Phew!) There are even TSA-approved combination locks and mesh zip pockets for extra organization. Choose from 10 colors — almost all are 65% off.

Sure, the temps have eased a bit, but that doesn't mean you want to be stuck breathing stale air at home. So do yourself a favor and grab this waaaay-marked-down tower fan. Its 90-degree oscillation keeps everyone cool while its quiet air-duct design minimizes crankiness.

At under 10 pounds, this diminutive dynamo is lightweight and easy to carry, yet still handles messes like a full-size machine. Its small size makes it easy to store away where no one will see. A best friend to pet owners, this cleaner will also vanquish funky furball odors.

Best Walmart weekend deals: Fall essentials

We may be nearing the end of summer, but fire pit season has only just begun! After all, there's nothing quite as cozy as gathering around the flames, whether you're roasting weenies at a backyard tailgate this September or gathering on mid-October nights to tell spooky stories. Make sure you're well-equipped for all that fun with this chic stainless steel fire pit, which — thanks to its smokeless design — produces 70% less smoke than traditional wood-burning fire pits. It's made from durable, corrosion-resistant stainless steel, and promises easy assembly in less than five minutes. One happy reviewer called it "just as good as, if not better than" the Solo Stove.

$97 at Walmart

One of my favorite things to do on an early-fall evening is to snuggle up outside near the fire pit, pop some popcorn and put on a fun movie using a portable projector. This diminutive dynamo has a palm-size profile with theater-size projection. You'll enjoy watching all your favorite movies, shows and more in full high-definition resolution. It'll easily work with multiple interfaces, and Bluetooth connectivity allows you to pair wireless speakers, a great way to add some oomph to your movie-watching experience.

As fall approaches, you'll love having a toasty, cozy space where you can curl up. Whether you're planning for long afternoons camped out on the couch, snuggled in bed or wrapped up on the porch, this 50-by-60-inch electric blanket will swaddle you in warmth and comfort throughout the fall and winter months (and potentially help you save big on your heating bill). It offers low-, medium- and high-temperature modes.

Best Walmart weekend deals: Fall outdoors

Fall sports fans, rejoice: Your tush doesn't have to ache after a few hours at the big game. Whether you're at a stadium cheering on your football heroes or down the road checking out the local baseball team, this portable fold-out chair is perfect for adding some comfort to the proceedings. It'll stay locked in place when hooked into a seating base, and the bungeed bottom cushion offers springy support whenever you're not standing up to cheer.

Leaf blowers make raking a thing of the past, but many models are heavy, require corded power, blow off noxious exhaust or suffer from any number of other inconveniences. This highly rated fave offers a lightweight, clean-running, cordless alternative that makes tackling the peskiest of yard chores a fall breeze.

$70 at Walmart

If you're dreading fall cleanup, we have your new best friend right here: A chain saw. But not just any chain saw — a little less Leatherface and a little more Polly Pocket, this compact cutie packs quite a punch. It's battery-powered, so you can take it to the farthest reaches of your backyard, and it can slay wayward branches and spindly overgrown trees with ease.

Great for small yards, this mower provides a 3-in-1 option for cleaning up your yard, including rear bagging, mulching and side-discharge capabilities along with standard mowing. Plus, its automatic battery switchover seamlessly transitions to a second battery without making you stop.

Best Walmart weekend deals: Style

We love a tote, but sometimes the size can get a little cumbersome. Enter this mini model, which, like the über popular LL Bean Boat and Tote Mini, brings all the style and utility of Michael Kors' classic totes to a smaller, sleeker frame. It features pops of eye-catching gold hardware and a removable shoulder strap so you can wear it exactly how you want to. At just $75, all the way down from $298 (a 75% off discount!) it's a no-brainer to add to any fall 'fit.

This "rich mom"-aesthetic sweater is, in our humble opinion, a pretty great dupe for pricier picks — Meghan Markle has been spotted wearing a similar style on the newest season of With Love, Meghan. However, the Duchess of Sussex's designer version would set you back over $250, so we suggest splurging on this knit-look $31 pick instead. That way you can grab it in a few colors for less, including this match-anything creamy beige, autumnal caramel and fall-worthy dark green.

Jeggings are a great middle ground between jeans and leggings (hence the name, obviously) — they have a pulled-together denim look, but with all the comfort of your favorite stretchies. These pants from Time and Tru are soft, comfy and come in sizes XS to XXL in multiple shades.

$8 at Walmart

This knit-style set is trendy enough to wear around but cozy enough to wear to bed. Made of a mix of polyester, rayon and spandex, it's soft, stretchy and supremely comfy. The top features a slightly oversized style, with the bottoms sporting a high-cut, drawstring waist. Choose from several autumnal colors, like khaki (pictured), wine red and sage green.

Best Walmart weekend deals: Home

Despite being a corded vac, this upright wonder from Shark is designed to clean anywhere you need it to — hard floors, carpets, stairs and more. The easy-detach Lift-Away pod enables fully portable cleaning, and the anti-allergen complete seal helps secure up to 99.99% of dust and allergens, so they're trapped in the vac and not in your sinuses (or the air you're breathing).

Meet the new mainstays of your bedtime routine. If you've been wanting to switch up your pillows, try out this memory foam two-pack, which provides support to your head, neck and shoulders' pressure points at a comfy sleep temperature, no matter what kind of sleeper you are. Grab them in lovely lilac (pictured), sleek silver or classic white.

Best Walmart weekend deals: Tech

This sleek, sky blue touchscreen laptop is ideal for scrolling, streaming, spreadsheets — oh, and schoolwork too! It's received more than 2,200 five-star ratings, and it's essentially two devices in one. Use it like a traditional laptop with the keyboard and touchpad, or pivot its 360-degree hinge to convert the device to tablet mode.

Plus, it has an Intel N100 processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. All of that for less than $200 is more than a good deal.

If you'd like to upgrade your entertainment setup before your next indoors era, we suggest this sleek 50" number from Vizio. You'll get 4K quality and instant access to all your favorite streaming apps, as well as enhanced gaming features including Dolby Vision HDR Gaming and an integrated gaming menu.

$214 at Walmart

We've selected an amazing streaming deal and a great TV to watch your faves on — but if you'd like a compact streaming device that helps easily corral all that content for you, try out the Roku Premiere. Watch all your go-to live, streaming and premium picks from a simple setup; you can even connect to Apple AirPlay for sharing from Apple devices. Don't forget to customize your home screen with all your top channels.

When you're listening to music, podcasts or audiobooks, the jarring sound of your neighbor's lawn mower can really ruin the experience. That's where these over-ear headphones come in. They not only block out distracting ambient sound, but they improve audio quality by enhancing subtler sounds.

Best Walmart weekend deals: Kitchen

This popular multi-hyphenate offers 10 functions to make whipping up breakfast, lunch and dinner a breeze. Use it as a sauté pan, skillet, slow cooker, stock pot, braiser, steamer, Dutch oven, rice cooker, serving dish or warming tray. The inner pot is removable, and it comes with a steam rack for veggies. And did we mention it doubles as a stylish serving dish?

'Tis the season for a cozy mug of evening tea before bed, and this electric kettle makes whipping up the perfect cuppa a breeze. You can score more than four cups of tea from a single 1-liter boil, which takes as little as three minutes. A 360-degree swivel base and no-drip spout makes pouring easy, and its auto-shutoff feature ensures safety if that Sleepytime Tea works a little faster than you expected.

Many blenders take up a ton of counter space, and they're heavy, especially if you're only making something for yourself. Personal blenders solve that problem — this compact blender churns out a cup of whatever you're mixing up. Though small, it packs a punch, easily crushing ice and pulverizing fruits and veggies, all while extracting those sought-after nutrients and vitamins.
