Moses Moody will miss the Warriors’ final three preseason games due to a left calf issue, according to ESPN’s Anthony Slater.
According to Slater, the Warriors are hopeful to have him back for the start of the regular season, and Steve Kerr said he’s “not too concerned.” If Moody is forced to miss time to start the season, Brandin Podziemski and Buddy Hield would presumably be in line for additional minutes.
NBA Preseason Highlights: Nuggets vs. Clippers
Behind Nikola Jokic and Aaron Gordon, the Nuggets left Los Angeles with a win over Kawhi Leonard's Clippers on Sunday night.
  • LAC Forward #2
Kawhi Leonard ended with 19 points in Sunday’s loss to the Nuggets.
He chipped in two rebounds, an assist and two steals. Leonard led LA in scoring, and he did it efficiently, shooting 5-of-10 from the floor and 6-of-6 from the charity stripe. Availability is always the biggest concern when drafting Leonard in fantasy hoops, but he’s proven to be an elite contributor on both ends of the floor when healthy.
  • DEN Center #15
Nikola Jokic provided 12 points, nine rebounds, six assists, a steal and a block across 22 minutes in Sunday’s 102-94 win over the Clippers.
Joker did what he usually does and posted useful numbers across the stat sheet. Expect more of the same from the three-time MVP, who is fresh off a season in which he became the first center to ever average a triple-double.
  • LAL Center #5
Deandre Ayton notched 14 points, eight rebounds, five assists, two steals and a blocked shot across 26 minutes in Sunday’s win over Golden State.
Ayton had another strong line in the victory, marking arguably his best game of the preseason. Ayton teased a double-double while getting teammates involved and putting in work on the defensive end. Numbers like this would make him a very attractive nightly option in 2025-26 fantasy hoops.
  • Brandin Podziemski turned in 23 points in Sunday’s loss to the Lakers, adding five rebounds, eight assists, a steal and three triples across 26 minutes.
Podz led all scorers in this one as he shot an efficient 10-of-16 from the field, including 3-of-7 from beyond the arc. He was also effective as a rebounder and facilitator, highlighting his ability to stuff the stat sheet on any given night. Podziemski should be in line for a significant role in Golden State’s rotation in 2025-26, making him a worthwhile selection inside the top 100 picks of fantasy drafts.
  • BOS Guard #4
Anfernee Simons finished Sunday’s blowout win over the Cavaliers with 21 points, two rebounds, two assists, a steal and six three-pointers across 25 minutes.
The Celtics started Chris Boucher, Sam Hauser, Payton Pritchard, Derrick White and Jaylen Brown, but Simons led all players in minutes in this one. He may come off the bench for Boston to start the regular season, but even as a reserve, he should see ample playing time as one of the team’s best offensive options.
  • CHI Guard #3
Josh Giddey delivered 14 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, a block and a triple across 24 minutes in Sunday’s loss to the Bucks.
Giddey stuffed the stat sheet with points, rebounds and assists in this one, tacking on a useful block and three-pointer in the process. The nightly triple-double threat should be a valuable option for fantasy managers in 2025-26, and his ADP has taken him as high as the third round in some drafts given his massive upside.
  • CHI Forward #14
Matas Buzelis finished Sunday’s loss to the Bucks with 19 points, four rebounds and two triples across 25 minutes.
Buzelis is putting together a strong preseason ahead of Year 2, and fantasy managers are hopeful that this is a sign of things to come once the 2025-26 season tips off. He’s a popular, late-round option in fantasy basketball leagues, though his ADP has climbed steadily since the beginning of October.
  • MIL Center-Forward #3
Myles Turner turned in 19 points and five three-pointers across 24 minutes in Sunday’s win over Chicago.
The big man added six boards, an assist and a block. Turner shot nothing but three-pointers, and he knocked down 5-of-8 while leading Milwaukee in the scoring department. Games like these are what Turner can provide to fantasy managers, though some more rebounds and blocks would be a nice, added touch.
  • Giannis Antetokounmpo provided 13 points, 10 rebounds and three assists across 21 minutes in Sunday’s win over the Bulls.
Antetokounmpo made his first start of the preseason after getting over a case of COVID-19, and he delivered a strong performance. Giannis’ stats certainly weren’t eye-popping, but a double-double in limited time after getting over an illness is definitely encouraging.
