Ja Morant

MEM Guard #12

Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players

Ja Morant added 23 points (8-of-23 FGs, 7-of-7 FTs), three rebounds, nine assists and one steal in Monday’s loss to the Warriors.

Inefficient shooting prevented Morant from a more stellar stat line on Monday — he made fewer than half of his two-pointers and missed all of his six attempts from beyond the arc. The superstar guard was able to take advantage of the free-throw line, however, and impressed as a facilitator throughout the game. Ultimately, he finished just one assist shy of the double-double against the Warriors but will have a chance to log his first of the season against the Suns on Wednesday.
Moses Moody

GSW Guard #4

Moses Moody tallied 20 points (6-of-10 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), two rebounds, one assist, two blocks, one steal and five three-pointers on Monday against the Grizzlies.

Moody knocked off the rust in his second game back in the lineup to log his first 20-point game of the season. He shot the ball efficiently in his 22 minutes of game action and produced a very strong 12-point third quarter to help Golden State build a double-digit lead and a nice cushion the rest of the way. Moody enjoyed a career-best 2024-25 season as a scorer and could have a similarly productive campaign in his fifth NBA season.
Brandin Podziemski

GSW Guard #2

Brandin Podziemski amassed 23 points (8-of-14 FGs, 2-of-4 FTs), three rebounds, six assists, one steal and five three-pointers in the win over the Grizzlies on Monday.

Podziemski utilized the three-point shot to conclude the victory as one of four Warriors to score at least 20 points on Monday. He was most productive as a scorer in the opening quarters of each half, but he also contributed throughout as a facilitator. In the end, the third-year guard landed his best statistical performance of the season and will have a chance to remain productive on Tuesday against the Clippers.
Jonathan Kuminga

GSW Forward #1

Jonathan Kuminga produced 25 points (9-of-14 FGs, 7-of-8 FTs), 10 rebounds, four assists and one block on Monday in the win over the Grizzlies.

Kuminga had a productive outing against the Grizzlies on Monday. He made moderate contributions to the scoreboard throughout the first three quarters before finishing strong, closing with 10 fourth-quarter points to conclude the game as Golden State’s leading scorer. The fifth-year forward has shot over 50.0 percent from the field, scored at least 14 points, and secured five or more rebounds in each of the Warriors’ four games thus far. He’s currently averaging career highs in rebounds and assists per game as he continues his encouraging start to the season.
Tim Hardaway

DEN Guard-Forward #10

Tim Hardaway Jr. totaled 20 points (7-of-11 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), one rebound, three assists and four three-pointers on Monday in the win over the Timberwolves.

Hardaway Jr. had the hot hand against Minnesota and displayed it during the third quarter of Monday’s contest. In the period, he connected on all five of his shot attempts and went 3-of-3 from beyond the arc before finishing the frame with 15 points. His production in that quarter alone helped the Nuggets turn an eight-point halftime deficit into an eight-point lead after three quarters. Hardaway finished as one of three Denver players to score at least 20 points.
Cameron Johnson

DEN Forward #23

Cameron Johnson (shoulder) exited in the fourth quarter against the Timberwolves on Monday and did not return.

Johnson left the game with 10:42 left and was deemed questionable to return. He sat out the rest of the game. Peyton Watson was part of the closing lineup, and if Johnson remains out against the Pelicans on Wednesday, Watson would have a good chance to start.
Jamal Murray

DEN Guard #27

Jamal Murray tallied 43 points (16-of-29 FGs, 6-of-7 FTs), six rebounds, three assists and five three-pointers in Monday’s win over the Timberwolves.

Murray was productive over the first two quarters of Monday’s contest, but hadn’t put his fingerprints on the game in any significant way to that point. However, he erupted after halftime, tallying four three-pointers and five free throws en route to a massive 23-point third quarter, which took Denver from down eight points at halftime to up eight entering the fourth frame. He cooled off from then on, but still contributed nine more points the rest of the way. Murray finished with a new season-high in points and helped Denver to a second straight victory.
Nikola Jokić

DEN Center #15

Nikola Jokic amassed 25 points (9-of-10 FGs, 7-of-7 FTs), 19 rebounds, 10 assists, two steals and one block against the Timberwolves on Monday.

Jokic logged his highest-scoring game of the season en route to his third consecutive triple-double. The former Finals MVP was extremely efficient from the field and perfect from the free-throw line in what turned out to be his third game scoring at least 20 points thus far. His most impact as a scorer came in a 5-of-5 shooting first quarter that led him to 13 points in the opening frame. Jokic picked his spots from then on, while staying aggressive on the glass and as a facilitator. He finished as the team’s second leading scorer on the evening.
Lauri Markkanen

UTA Forward-Center #23

Lauri Markkanen led the Jazz with 51 points (14-of-32 FGs, 17-of-17 FTs), 14 rebounds, three assists and six three-pointers in a 138-134 overtime win over the Suns on Monday.

Not only did Markkanen set a new career-high for points, but he was able to have the first 50-point regular season game for the Jazz since April 7, 1998. It has been a strong start to the year for Markkanen after a down 2024-25 season; he is averaging 34.7 points and 4.7 three-pointers per game. Whether or not the Jazz trade him or keep him, he’s doing everything he can to improve his value. His fifth-round Yahoo! ADP is looking like a bargain at this point. He’ll look to stay hot with the Trail Blazers coming to town on Wednesday.
Jaden McDaniels

MIN Forward #3

Jaden McDaniels totaled 25 points (10-of-16 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), three rebounds, one assist, four blocks and one three-pointer in Monday’s loss to the Nuggets.

McDaniels was aggressive on the offensive end in Minnesota’s first game of the season without Anthony Edwards (hamstring). The versatile forward led all Timberwolves players in shot attempts and was the only one to tally double-digit makes. He was efficient from the floor and, unsurprisingly, made an impact on the defensive end as a shot blocker. McDaniels didn’t get involved much on the glass or as a passer, but if he can stay consistent as a scorer during Edwards’s absence, he’ll provide an undermanned Timberwolves squad with a needed scoring boost.
