Glazer reports Alexander is stepping away from football “to focus on getting himself right physically and mentally before deciding on his future.” The 28-year-old appeared in two games for the Ravens this season before the Eagles acquired him for a late-round pick swap prior to the trade deadline. Alexander has struggled to stay healthy each of the last three seasons, appearing in a combined 16 games since the start of the 2023 season. He most recently was dealing with a knee issue and could not get fully healthy to contribute to either the Eagles or Ravens this year. Now, it appears he is stepping away from the Eagles and football to determine his physical and mental health before choosing a path for the future. Alexander is not yet retired, but he is unlikely to be a contributor for the 2025 season.
  • PHI Tight End #88
Goedert notched three of his four receptions on the team’s opening possession of the second half and did not manage another catch the rest of the way. Both offenses struggled to move the football consistently as the two teams failed to score a single point in the first half, with a field goal to start the third frame the difference. Goedert remains a touchdown-aided TE1 ahead of a Week 11 meeting with the Lions in Philadelphia.
  • PHI Wide Receiver #11
The low volume was a product of a game environment in which quarterback Jalen Hurts attempted only 26 passes. The two teams played to a 0-0 tie at the half as each team biased their attack to the ground game, leaving Brown with his lowest target total since a one-target outing in Week 1 against the Cowboys. Inconsistent volume remains highly likely as we head down the back stretch of the 2025 fantasy season, something fantasy managers need not worry about ahead of a Week 11 home matchup with the pass-funnel Lions.
  • PHI Wide Receiver #6
The two teams played to a 0-0, tightly contested defensive struggle throughout the first half, with Smith’s fourth quarter touchdown pushing the team’s lead to 10-0. Smith led the team in targets with seven on a night quarterback Jalen Hurts attempted only 26 passes as each team biased their attack to the ground game, but the speedy receiver high-pointed the football over safety coverage to come down with yet another game changing catch for the Eagles on his score. Smith remains unlikely to see consistently high volume in the new-look Philadelphia offense but carries some of the highest per-target upside in the league. He’ll remain a locked-in WR2 ahead of a home meeting with the Lions in Week 11.
  • PHI Running Back #26
It’s difficult to bottle up Barkley’s magic for an entire NFL game, something the Packers found that out the hard way when a well-timed spin move broke Barkley into the open field for a 41-yard gain on a reception in the fourth quarter. The Eagles would score their only touchdown of the game on the next play when quarterback Jalen Hurts found DeVonta Smith for a 26-yard score, enough to send the Eagles to a 6-2 record and one game behind the Conference lead. It was an overall poor offensive performance from the Eagles, who gained only 294 yards of total offense on the evening. Look no further than Barkley’s 60 additional yards on his other 24 touches outside of the 41-yard catch-and-run down the sideline. Even so, Barkley remains a volume-aided RB1 ahead of another difficult matchup on the ground against the Lions in Week 11.
  • PHI Quarterback #1
A battle between two top defenses that took a deadlocked 0-0 game into the half was broken open by a 36-yard dart to DeVonta Smith in the fourth quarter from the arm of Hurts. Both teams struggled to move the football throughout, combining for just 555 yards of total offense. Hurts and the Eagles emerged victorious, a win that sends them to a 6-2 record and just one game off the Conference lead as the lone playoff bye begins to come into focus. The veteran franchise quarterback also lost a fumble in the red zone that took points off the board early, something the defense would atone for with their own red zone fumble at the end of the first half. The Eagles get another top NFC North opponent in Week 11 when they face off against the Lions at home.
  • PHI Cornerback #18
Both Jaire Alexander and A.J. Dillon came into the league with the Packers but will be inactive for Monday Night Football. The continued absence of Cam Jurgens could influence the team’s tendencies near the goal line considering he is a primary piece of the tush push. The Eagles get back A.J. Brown coming out of their bye.
  • PHI Outside Linebacker #3
Smith suffered a triceps injury in Week 3’s win over the Rams and has been sidelined ever since. The third-year pro totaled 10 tackles and one forced fumble in the three games he appeared in this season, and totaled a career-high 6.5 tackles last season. He should immediately slot into his normal role on Monday night against the Packers.
  • PHI Running Back #26
Both players found themselves on the injury report early in the week coming off the team’s bye week, but both were removed Saturday as the Eagles prepare to face the Packers on Monday Night Football. Center Cam Jurgens was ruled out but his absence didn’t affect Barkley’s rushing output in Week 8. Treat Barkley as a locked-in RB1, even in a difficult matchup, while Brown has fallen slightly to WR2 status of late.
  • PHI Offensive Lineman #51
Jurgens remained sidelined in practice on Saturday and appears headed for another absence when the Eagles play the Packers on Monday Night Football. Look for Brett Toth to once again be relied upon in the trenches when two top NFC teams meet on Monday.
