The 31 best Advent calendars for the 2025 holiday season that you can still shop before December 1
This year's Christmas countdowns are selling fast — now's the time to grab your favorite before it's gone.
In this story
I'm not here to get your tinsel in a tangle, but the merriest of merrymakers know that it's already too late to snag some of this year's hottest Advent calendars. The ones that remain? They'll be long gone by the time that Black Friday rolls around, especially since tons of Advent calendars are on sale. So, it's safe to say there's no time like the present to make your pick, which is exactly why I got my hands on this year's newest releases and opened every door — hundreds, in fact! — to come up with this list of the best Advent calendars of 2025.
There are plenty of familiar favorites from the likes of Lego and Bonne Maman, but the 2025 holiday season also brings some new Advent calendars for men and women, from a Hallmark Channel-inspired wine countdown to limited-edition beauty Advent calendars that offer impressive value (I'm talking $800-plus worth of makeup and skincare for $150). Not sure how you want to bring the cheer? You can't go wrong with countdowns filled with cheery chocolates, coffee pods, festive candles or mini bottles of wine. Or better yet, spring for a reusable calendar and stick whatever you want inside.
Some of this year's most popular Advent calendars — ahem, Revolve and Anthropologie — are already sold out, and I'm sure everything else on this list will soon follow suit. My two cents: Make your pick now and yule rest easy from now until December.
Best Advent calendars for 2025
Have yourself a Harry little Christmas with this magic-filled countdown. I solemnly swear that the 2025 version is even better than the last — it's full of collectibles and deeper cuts like Aragog and Thestral, along with the main characters sporting their finest Fair Isle sweaters.
Funky socks make the holiday festivities all the more fun. Give your fashionista a dozen new pairs for just $15 — all of them bring the cheer, but some are a little more on the nose than others (ahem, like ones featuring Santa front and center). And if you really want to up the ante, opt for the 24-day countdown to deliver double the fun.
More people are turning to so-called "grandma hobbies" to relieve stress, myself included. And if learning how to crochet is on your to-do list, then follow my lead and turn to The Woobles for a helping hand. Beginners can lean into the fun with this DIY toy workshop, which comes with four full-size kits and a bunch of festive accessories, crochet hooks and other cheery add-ons.
I'm not going to pretend that spending close to $400 on an Advent calendar is no big shake, but trust me, this cult-favorite countdown is well worth the splurge. You'll get a dozen bejeweled beauties in gold or silver, totaling over $800 in value — from the bestselling Elisa pendant to the ultra-sparkly Mikki Pave Huggie Earrings. That means, you're basically getting the whole lot for half off!
Get twelve days of holiday scents in festive glass votives — some are sweet and spicy, others bring the outside in. The candles have an estimated 25-hour burn time, so you probably won't burn through 'em all by Christmas (especially if you have one of these nifty candle warmer lamps!).
The cleaner the candle, the cleaner the burn. So, this countdown also comes with a gold-plated wick trimmer to help you keep things nice and neat.
Pottery Barn always delivers on the reusable Advent calendar front with mantel-worthy trains, felt wall hangings and tabletop countdowns. This felt favorite is a Christmas classic: Stuff sweets, coins and tiny trinkets into the drawers, then put it away and pull it out again next year. Personalize it with your kid's name or family's last name (up to 15 characters) for an extra $16.
Best beauty Advent calendars
The weather outside is frightful, but your lips shouldn't be. Kidding ... kind of. Pick up this Advent calendar (for just $30, I might add) and get a dozen full-size lip balms in seasonal flavors like sugar cookie and cranberry spritz to soothe dry, cracked lips all season long.
Sephora Collection is one of the store's best-kept secrets, and this 24-day countdown will introduce you to the brand's biggest sellers. There aren't any brushes in this bunch, but there are plenty of sheet masks, makeup bestsellers and limited-edition accessories to go 'round.
Consider it a steal for younger beauty lovers dipping their toes — er, brushes — into makeup or anyone who wants to spruce up their stash with some fresh finds.
You know (and love) the brand's almond-scented shower oil, but have you tried everything else they have to offer? You're just in luck because this Advent calendar is jam-packed with the brand's best skin-soothers, from nourishing hand, foot and face creams to luxe shower upgrades. A surprising standout: The Cocon de Sérénité pillow mist, which is bound to bring the calm in the weeks leading up to Christmas.
Leave it to Lush to bring the calm amid the (delightful) chaos of the season. Unwrap a dozen bath, body or shower products in the lead-up to Santa's arrival — some are tailored to the holiday (like the Christmas Eve bubble bar), others will be recognizable to longtime Lush shoppers.
I'm not going to pretend that spending $200 on an Advent calendar is no small thing, but here's the deal: This bad boy is actually worth it — well, actually it's worth over $460. That's right, you'll get 24 of the brand's cult-favorite face and body products, from nourishing goat milk soap bars to skin-saving serums. Everything's "clinically tested, scientifically proven and made for sensitive skin" (Beekman's words, not mine).
A trip to a French pharmacy may not be in the cards this holiday season, but you know what is? Twenty-four days of top-tier hair, body care and skin-care treatments that'll give you that sought-after je ne sais quoi. There are 24 products total — 15 are full-size and 13 are brand-new.
The 2023 countdown sold out in 48 hours. Last year's had a 16,000-person waitlist. And while there's no telling what 2025 will bring, I wouldn't take any chances here.
Here's another beauty bestseller that's not to be missed. This year, Benefit has turned its holiday countdown into a festive game of sorts. Spin, flip and reveal 24 of the brand's holy-grail items — some are full-size (hint, hint, Benetint), while others are fun-size and perfect for future travels.
Best food and chocolate Advent calendars
Godiva takes the cake, er, chocolate in the Advent calendar department. It's pricier than Lindt, Toblerone and Kinder, but the quality and selection is top-notch. You'll get the whole trifecta in this countdown: milk, dark and white chocolate. Some are straight chocolate, while others are filled with salted caramel, almond crunch and sweet ganache.
I know there won't be a shortage of festive cookies come December, but who says you can't sprinkle in some (ahem, 24) butter-based biscuits into the mix? Not me, that's for sure. Fuel up for your own baking adventures with these timeless favorites, ranging from simple shortbread rounds to salted caramel squares.
Sure, it's what's on the inside that counts, but this Advent calendar's packaging lays the foundation for a delicious flavor story. There's something wicked behind every door — get a Good Witch truffle one day and a Wicked Witch truffle the next. Let all Oz be agreed: These flavors are anything but ordinary, everything from Emerald City Elixir (matcha tea latte) to the aptly-named Yellow Brick Road (caramel honeycomb).
Fly by Jing's Sichuan Chili Crisp is a staple in my pantry. Yours too? You're in luck, because this holiday season, you can indulge in a dozen of the brand's best bites, including sauces, noodles and never-before-seen releases. It'll be a welcome change from the chocolates and sugary-sweet treats that dominate each December.
Your candy-loving heart will grow three sizes with this cheery countdown, packed with a festive mix of chocolates, caramels and gummies that bring out Whoville's best.
It'll be a merry Cheesemas, indeed! Swap sweets for this savory selection of cheeses — I'm talking gruyére, truffle cheddar, red cheddar and more bestsellers. Yeah, yeah, the cheese is the star here, but this 12-day countdown also comes with jams and crackers to complete your spread.
Best tea and coffee Advent calendars
I think I can speak for all of us when I say it's always nice to have options. This pick from Pukka has 24 (!) different tea varieties — yep, not a single duplicate in this whole set. Some speak to the season's quintessential flavors (ginger chocolate and sweet cinnamon), while others will help you wind down before Santa comes to town (turmeric chamomile).
The holidays are brewing, and so is your Keurig machine. Each morning, pop a new pod into your machine and for a cup of cheer. Sip on a variety of festive flavors from top brands including Green Mountain, La Colombe and Caribou Coffee. This 24-door countdown also has a couple of Swiss Miss hot chocolate K-cups for the occasional after-hours treat.
Leave it to Tea Forte to bring tidings of comfort and warming joy this December. Each day, you'll get a new pyramid-shaped tea bag in one of 24 flavors — everything from bold black teas and vibrant greens to calming herbal blends. There's a tea for every taste bud, so you're bound to find the perfect cuppa to carry you through the season.
A tip: Tell Santa as soon as you sip something you like, so he can stick a whole box of your top pick underneath the tree.
Some people (hi, it's me) want convenience. Others want an experience. If you're more of the latter, treat yourself to this accordion-style coffee advent calendar. Sure, it's stunning, but its design isn't just for show: Inside each day's slot, you'll find a 2-ounce bag of whole bean coffee, perfectly measured for a 24-ounce brew (that's up to three or four cups). No two blends are the same — throughout the month, you'll encounter unique varieties from Honduras, Kenya, Colombia and more.
Are you a Nespresso loyalist? This countdown will give you a new capsule each day varying in strength, flavor and caffeination levels. On Christmas Eve, unwrap a limited-edition mug to carry your morning ritual into the new year. (Psst, if you like espresso over coffee, then spring for the OG version.)

Best children's Advent calendars
Let your little sculptor's imagination run wild this December. They'll unveil 24 fresh tubs of dough, plus 28 festive molds and three punch-out paper crafts to create their very own winter wonderland. The set also comes with four how-to cards in case they need some inspo.
Count down to Christmas one Micromallow at a time. The whole squad is decked out in their holiday best — there's Manny the Snowman, Darla the Reindeer and 22 other merry minis.
No question, this countdown is one of the most-anticipated ones of the year. A friendly piece of advice? Grab it now before it goes.
Instead of plushies, this Squishmallows countdown is loaded with 24 (!) squeezable squishes in their smallest size yet. A lot of the seasonal squad is represented here — Carrigan the Pink Christmas Tree, Falala the Pink Fawn and more.
Kids love magic — and this countdown will teach them 15 new tricks to take to the stage. On the other days, they'll learn how to float coins on water, write secret messages and conduct scientific fun.
Best whiskey and wine Advent calendars
A bottle of wine and Hallmark's "Countdown to Christmas" go together like Lacey Chabert and, well, any small-town hunk (Hallmark fans know what I'm talking about).
Pour yourself a glass of red, white, rosé or sparkling wine before tuning in for the ultimate wind-down. And yes, I know the holiday lineup typically starts airing in October, but try your best to wait until Dec. 1 to start sipping.
Make your spirits bright, one glass of whiskey at a time. Take your taste buds on a trip around the world with this top-selling Advent calendar, featuring the finest pours from distilleries in Kentucky, Scotland, Japan and more.
You'll also get two collectible Glencairn glasses because, ya know, you should always dress for the job you want.
Dreaming of a white (wine) Christmas? What about a red winemas? Well, you'll get a bit of both (plus, some rosé!) in this 24-day wine countdown. Each mini bottle gives you a 6-ounce pour — sip on one solo while you make your list (and check it twice) or save 'em to share with loved ones at holiday parties.
Update, Nov. 19, 2025: We updated prices and checked stock for all products. We also add Godiva's chocolate countdown, a funky sock calendar and a bestseller from Sephora Collection.
