Jeep Gives the Gladiator a Retro Look with the New Whitecap Package
Jeep has revealed the Gladiator Whitecap, a new package that can be added to the Sahara, Rubicon, Rubicon X, Mojave, and Mojave X trims.
The Whitecap brings white accents to the roof, grille, and hood, along with a stripe along the side.
The package adds just $495 to the price of a Gladiator, and will become available this spring.
The parade of special-edition Jeeps continues. After unveiling the retro-themed Wrangler Whitecap in December, Jeep is now applying the same visual treatment to the Wrangler's pickup-truck sibling, the Gladiator. The 2026 Gladiator Whitecap brings a vintage look and can be selected on a wide array of trims.
The Gladiator Whitecap's look is basically identical to that of the Wrangler Whitecap. Jeep says the look is inspired by its earliest production vehicles, and the Whitecap edition wears a Bright White roof and a Bright White side stripe decal that says "1941" on the front doors, honoring the first year of production for the original Willys MB.
More Bright White paint adorns the outer edge of the seven-slot grille, and the Rubicon, Rubicon X, Mojave, and Mojave X trims also receive a white decal on the hood that displays the trim's name. Otherwise, the Whitecap addition packs all of the same content as other Gladiators, with a towing capacity of up to 7700 pounds, a maximum payload of 1720 pounds, and the ability to remove the roof and the doors. Like all Gladiators, the Whitecap edition models will be powered by a 285-hp 3.6-liter V-6 mated to an eight-speed automatic and four-wheel drive.
The Whitecap package is available on the Gladiator Sahara, Rubicon, Rubicon X, Mojave, and Mojave X. The package only adds $495 to the price and will start appearing at dealerships in the spring. At the low end, the Sahara Whitecap will start at $50,680, while the Rubicon X and Mojave X, the Gladiator's top trims, will cost $63,775 with the package.
