About Amazon
Amazon has become synonymous with online shopping, but the retail giant has humble roots — it started in a garage in 1994. (Yes, the internet existed back then.) Today, it's one of the most popular stops on the web for just about every product you can imagine. From Apple tech to home and lifestyle brands like Dyson, KitchenAid and Levi's, there isn't much you can't find — and often for a bargain. Speaking of deals, Amazon's highly anticipated Prime Day sale events take place biannually, allowing Amazon Prime members to scoop up even bigger discounts than usual. A Prime membership also includes perks like fast, free shipping and access to Amazon streaming content, as well as discounts at Whole Foods, which Amazon acquired in 2017.

If you have an Amazon Prime account, you can learn all about the perks of being a member on Amazon's Prime Insider page. Prime-only discounts are among the best benefits that come with your membership, so while you're shopping, keep an eye out for member markdowns, which will be noted on eligible product pages. And come Prime Day? You'll have early access to many deals, so mark your calendar once the dates are announced!
