  • Congratulations to our CEO Mark Lazarus, who was honored with the Broadcasters Foundation of America's Golden Mic Award, recognizing his extraordinary contributions to the broadcast industry. In his acceptance remarks, Mark shared a powerful reminder of why their work matters: “Broadcasting is not just about ratings, rights, or revenue. It is about people.” That belief has defined his career and continues to shape the way we think about serving audiences and supporting our communities. From news and sports to primetime and seven Olympic Games, Mark’s leadership reflects a deep commitment to the power of shared experiences and the importance of strong partnerships. We are proud to celebrate this well-deserved honor and grateful for the impact Mark continues to make across our industry. Congratulations, Mark.

  • We're proud to share that Fandango has been named the recipient of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America Cause Marketing Award. Will McIntosh accepted the award on behalf of Fandango and VERSANT last week at the Boys & Girls Clubs of America Board of Governors meeting in Dallas, TX. The recognition highlights Fandango’s national Round Up for Boys & Girls Clubs of America campaign, which raised more than $2.6 million in its first year by inviting moviegoers to round up their ticket purchases to support local Clubs. By integrating giving directly into the moviegoing experience and pairing it with co-branded promotions and film activations, including The Bad Guys 2 premiere, the campaign helped expand access to arts, media, and storytelling experiences for young people nationwide. Congratulations to the Fandango team and our partners at Boys & Girls Clubs of America on this meaningful milestone. We are proud to see this work recognized and even more proud of the impact it continues to make.

  • Will McIntosh spoke with Deadline about how VERSANT is approaching its next phase of growth across its digital platforms, specifically focusing on Fandango and Rotten Tomatoes. That momentum includes the recent acquisition of INDY Cinema Group, now rebranded to Fandango1. The move expands how Fandango supports exhibitors, building on INDY’s exhibitor-first foundation with enhanced solutions that help theaters strengthen operations and deepen relationships with moviegoers. This is large step in Fandango’s broader effort to bring more value to the entire cinema ecosystem, from moviegoers to exhibitors and cinema operators.
