This week, the OpenRoad Foundation team took to the tarmac at YVR to participate in Hope Air’s Haul for Hope, an unforgettable fundraiser that brought teams together in support of Canadians who need to travel for essential medical care. A team of 11 OpenRoad Associates came together for the challenge of pulling a 67,000 lb aircraft 100 metres, all in support of Hope Air and its mission to help Canadians access essential medical care when distance stands in the way. The day was a great reminder of what can happen when people come together for a shared purpose. Our Associates brought plenty of energy to the tarmac, supported one another throughout the challenge and proudly represented the OpenRoad Foundation alongside other teams participating in the fundraiser. Community involvement is a big part of what the OpenRoad Foundation stands for, and events like Haul for Hope give our Associates the opportunity to get directly involved while supporting organizations making a meaningful difference. A huge thank you to the 11 Associates who represented OpenRoad and took on the challenge.
