We are hiring CU DU Associate Engineer, The O-RAN team is creating innovative products and solutions, engaging you in market assessment, technology development, intellectual property generation, and product architecture from the ground up. Job Responsibilities: You Will - Be part of the team responsible for implementing and testing key Layer 2/3 features, algorithms and integrate them with the CU, DU, RU and other features in a LEAN Agile environment. - Develop features in C, in a multi-core target environment and/or under cloud-native architecture. - Work with other team members and software architects to determine the high level and detailed designs of the CU/DU components. - Be part of a scrum team responsible for the continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) of the CU/DU components and fix defects in a timely manner. - Identify, develop, execute, monitor and maintain automated tests. - Apply knowledge of real-time software development and wireless communication protocols (5G NR and/or O-RAN). Job Requirements: Core Competencies - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or an Engineering related field. - 0-2 years of relevant experience. - Solid knowledge and experience in C programming with good knowledge of Python/scripting languages. - Outstanding problem-solving ability, including debugging/analytical skills. - Familiarity with containerized deployment tools like Kubernetes, Podman & Docker. - Good understanding of IPC, Process, Threads, Multithreading Concepts. - Designing, simulating, coding, and testing solutions in a timely manner. - Ability to be organized, goal-oriented, a self-starter, with a team focused mentality. - Understanding of Agile Software Development methodology, practices, and tools. - Desire to be part of a collaborative cutting edge team where everybody in the scrum team owns the deliverables and quality. Desirable Requirements: - Knowledge of RAN software architecture and design. - Embedded / Real time development experience.                                                                        - Understanding of 4G/5G Layer 3 Procedures like Handover, Measurements, Re-Establishment and Mobility is an added advantage. - Hands-on skills in multi-core embedded or open-source software design. - DPDK knowledge. - Familiarity of wireless technologies and standards, preferably in 5G, O-RAN, LTE; and RAN Layer 2 – RLC, MAC, Scheduler, and L1 interfaces. - An internship working on carrier grade telecommunications products. - Familiarity with Jenkins, Jira, wireshark, gdb, GIT, Netconf YANG, PowerBI and the Atlassian toolset. - Good command of Linux with different Distros. - Contributing to large open-source projects is a plus. - Understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery concepts. - Familiarity with test automation practices and ROBOT automation framework. We are hiring Front-office Packet switching Core Network Engineer Job Purpose The Telecom Core Engineers are to be part of FO team, required to provide L1 Support Service to different Packet Core components. Job Description: You Will be the 1st line support for the TTs from NOC/Handle Customer complaints: - Real‑time monitoring - Capacity reporting - TT escalation & coordination to technical support/CSR teams - Customer complaint handling •Be the first point of contact to assess or inquire about the relevant Packet Core nodes services availability •Be in charge of monitoring different packet core nodes performance based on pre-defined Alarms and KPIs •Be identifying the root cause of incoming alarms, and initiating the incident management lifecycle. •Be Performing initial diagnostics and executing standard operating procedures (SOPs) or first-level corrective actions to resolve network faults rapidly. •Be responsible for timely escalation of incidents to higher support levels based on the severity and the nature of the incident •Be responsible for Providing regular updates to internal management and clients regarding high-severity network outages and estimated times of restoration (ETR). •Participating in strict shift handover processes to ensure ongoing incidents are seamlessly transitioned to the incoming team without losing critical context.
