Returning to London after its successful debut, the Wundrful World of Christmas is the latest immersive experience coming to #ImmerseLDN on the Excel Waterfront. Opening on 13 November, this festive adventure will see family’s journey to the North Pole through a combination of live performers, immersive storytelling and spectacular sets…not to mention a meeting with Santa himself. It’s also our 13th show to be hosted at Immerse LDN reflecting the continued growth of London’s immersive scene and our commitment to bringing exceptional experiences to new and returning audiences. A record 6,688 unique visitors attended London Packaging Week as more than 230 exhibitors and over 110 speakers helped deliver the biggest edition in the event’s history. The event, held at #ExcelLondon recently, also recorded a 16% year-on-year growth, with the show already set to return to Excel on 22 & 23 September 2027. Josh Brooks, Packaging Portfolio Divisional Director for organiser Easyfairs, said: “To welcome 6,688 unique visitors through the doors is a fantastic result and a landmark moment for London Packaging Week. Growing attendance by more than 16% in a single year, following significant growth in 2025, shows the incredible momentum that has built around the event." London Packaging Week

Excel's Jeremy Rees has been elected as AEV Chair following its annual general meeting last week. Rees, who is the CEO of #ExcelLondon, steps down as treasurer for his new role, with Dan Thurlow, Director of Exhibition Sales at Scottish Event Campus, taking his place. Rees commented: “The events industry contributes £11.7bn to the UK economy; it is our role to continue engaging with government to ensure it is recognised and valued. Serving on the AEV board is a great privilege; the collective skill and expertise create a distinctive platform to highlight the appeal of our industry and, amongst other things, develop the skills agenda.” AEV Association of Event Venues Ltd #AEV
