Inspired by the original St. Luke’s Chapel of Porter Military Academy, the 11,000 SF chapel blends historic details with contemporary design. Replicated scissor trusses, a gothic-arched altar rail, and sapele woodwork pay tribute to the original chapel, while flexible classrooms and gathering spaces support the school’s daily needs. 🌳 Careful site planning preserved most of the site’s grand Live Oak trees while creating a meaningful new gateway to campus. #K12Education #IndependentSchoolDesign #ChapelDesign
