I gave Jev a paddle. Then I tried to beat it. 🏓 Jev is TypeSafe’s decision-making AI model. Instead of generating text, it receives the current state of an application and returns structured decisions with probabilities and confidence. So I built JevPong to see what that looks like in a real-time game. You play ping pong with Jev and as the ball moves across the court, Jev must continuously decide: • Move up, move down, or hold position? • Return safely, at an angle, or with more speed? • Aim high, centre, or low? • Use its boost now or save it? You can watch its decision probabilities, confidence, latency, and token usage as the match unfolds. Behind the scenes, the game doesn’t call Jev directly. Requests go through Postman Fabric Gateway, giving us a shared place to manage the route, keep provider credentials away from the application, and observe how the traffic performs.
