Now, let’s finish by building each other up. ☑️ Today’s challenge: Tell someone they matter. 👏 Recognize a teammate. Thank someone for what they bring to the team. Let someone know you appreciate them. 🗣️ A few words of encouragement can have a bigger impact than we realize. 👥 Everyone deserves to know that they matter, that they’re valued, and that they’re an important part of the team. DAY 4: CONNECT THE RESOURCES 🤝 Help someone find support. Sometimes the most important thing we can do is help connect someone to the right support. ☑️ Today’s challenge: Share a resource. If someone is struggling, remind them that help is available, and that asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness. 📚 Resources: • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) — Free, confidential counseling for employees and their families through Health Advocate. DAY 3: MAKE ROOM 👂 Listen without trying to fix it. Not every conversation needs a solution. ☑️ Today’s challenge: Put down your phone, make eye contact, and really listen. Listen without judgment. Listen without immediately trying to fix the problem. You don’t need to have the perfect words or all the answers. Sometimes, simply knowing that someone cares enough to ask and is willing to listen can make all the difference. 🗣️ Give people the space to be heard. #ConstructionSuicidePreventionWeek #CSPW2026 #BuildOnProgress #MentalHealthAwareness #BetterTogether

DAY 2: BUILD TRUST Go one step deeper. Starting the conversation is the first step. Building trust means being willing to ask a little more. 🗣️ Today’s challenge: Ask how they’re really doing. If someone tells you they’re having a tough day, don’t be afraid to ask, “Do you want to talk about it?” Show genuine interest. Give them time to answer. Let them know they don’t have to brush everything off or handle it alone. Sometimes, showing that you’re willing to stay in the conversation is what matters most. Our industry is known for high suicide rates, but progress is being made, and we want to help build on that progress. One day, and one conversation, at a time. 💬 So let’s start the conversation. 💡 Today’s challenge: Check in with someone. 👥 Ask a coworker, friend, or teammate, “How are you doing?” and mean it. A simple question can open the door to an important conversation.
