When we heard about a young fan in Michigan who loves watching Amazon deliveries roll through his neighborhood, we knew we wanted to do something special. We teamed up with Amazon Delivery Service Partner, Taylor Bahri, and her company Dreams Logistics LLC, a local business that delivers packages to Amazon customers, to surprise Lincoln with an experience he won't soon forget. 📷: Amazon in Action

I also received a surprise delivery. I placed order 702-6163505-1901843 for an iPhone 17 Pro Max (256GB) on Amazon with guaranteed delivery—meaning it was a product sold and shipped by Amazon itself. After the purchase, a delivery attempt was made on the evening of September 16th, during which they claimed no one was available to receive it. It is worth noting that I live in a building with a 24-hour concierge. The next morning, September 17th, the order was delivered in a sealed package that appeared untampered with. Upon receiving the package, we suspected it felt lighter than usual for an iPhone, so we recorded a video of ourselves opening it. Indeed, upon opening it, we discovered an electronic scale inside. I contacted Amazon support and provided various images and videos of the incident. They are claiming they bear no responsibility for the delivery since the package was not tampered with, effectively telling me to absorb the loss of approximately R$8,200.

What I like about stories like this is that they show the human side of a very large operation. A delivery may be routine for the company, but for a young customer, it can become a memory that lasts for years. That kind of connection is hard to manufacture—and incredibly valuable for a brand

This puts a lot of love 🩵 at the center of interacting with a company like Amazon. If they never order anything from Amazon again (which seems unlikely) they will be brand supporters for life.

Lincoln's getting the Amazon job one day when he's ready, just for his enthusiasm. Go Lincoln! :)

I have an order with Amazon Brazil that is awaiting shipment; I paid for express shipping, but so far there has been no resolution. How do you intend to resolve this? I want the product—I don't want a refund; I want it delivered...

This is wonderful. A young person’s curiosity can look small from the outside, but it may be the beginning of something much bigger. Exposure is often the first step toward future capability. When someone takes an interest seriously and opens a door to experience it, a distant dream can begin feeling possible. Thank you, Amazon and Dreams Logistics LLC, for opening that door.

In logistics, we talk so much about route optimization, delivery speed, and metrics, yet moments like this remind us that at the end of every delivery is a real human connection. Kudos to Taylor Bahri and Dreams Logistics LLC for turning a routine route into an unforgettable memory for Lincoln. For the delivery and fulfillment folks here: what’s the most memorable customer interaction you’ve seen your team create on the ground?
