Amazon is raising minimum starting pay for full-time U.S. core operations employees to $20 per hour, with average pay reaching nearly $24 per hour. When you factor in benefits, average total compensation comes to more than $32 per hour. Two new benefits are also on the way: A lifetime membership in First Tech Federal Credit Union that gives qualified employees and their families access to low-cost banking, and a new grocery discount on Amazon.com and Whole Foods Market Online, plus in-store at Whole Foods Market and Daily Shop.
Amazon announces new tools and services to help sellers go global from day one
Sellers on Amazon who list in more than one country earn 70% more revenue on average than those who sell in just one—but until now, going global meant essentially starting a new business in each country. Amazon is changing that with a new set of connected tools spanning compliance, logistics, and the selling experience. New one-submission compliance testing is already saving early pilot sellers up to 60% on compliance costs.

Prime Big Deal Days returns October 6–7 with 48 hours of Prime member-exclusive deals across more than 35 categories—from Halloween prep and fall entertaining to early holiday gifting—all with fast, free delivery. New deals drop three times daily through Today's Big Deals, featuring some of the best savings of the season. This year, Alexa for Shopping makes it easier to find savings by setting deal alerts, tracking price history, and even auto-buying items when they hit your target price.
Prime members in 22 countries including Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, the United States, and the United Kingdom can shop Prime Big Deal Days this season. Amazon invests another $1.9 billion in the Delivery Service Partner program, launching new safety initiatives and AI-powered technology
Amazon is investing $1.9 billion in its Delivery Service Partner (DSP) program in 2027, building on $21.7 billion committed over the program's eight-year history. The investment is expected to help DSP owners raise driver pay to a national average of nearly $24 per hour.
Safety improvements are also showing real results, with serious vehicle crashes down more than 23% across the network last year. New AI tools like Wellspring, which has already mapped 202 million parking locations, and Smart Delivery Glasses, which give drivers hands-free navigation and scanning, are helping make deliveries faster and more accurate for customers.

I wanted to follow up because I haven’t received a response to my original inquiry: https://lnkd.in/p/gbqpaTqq As mentioned previously, I was surprised to learn about a paid career service called “The Super Coach”: https://www.thesuper.coach/welcome run by: Shreya Mehta 🚀 The Super Coach currently markets “Land your job in 90 days or less” and offers programs priced from $2K to $10K. Its $10K “Prime” plan even provides clients with “Done for you” job applications stating its clients “work at the top companies around the world” displaying Amazon’s logo. Again, I am not accusing Amazon, The Super Coach of illegal conduct or wrongdoing. As an applicant, I am simply asking for transparency regarding Amazon’s hiring process. My previous comments received 1000’s of views, and there is clearly public interest in understanding whether candidates seeking employment at Amazon are encouraged, or advantaged by paying The Super Coach. Since my previous inquiry, The Super Coach has restructured its website with its paid-service language that previously appeared on its homepage now appearing on its services page.
