Climate Week has reinforced the scale of the transformation underway and the opportunity to lead with sustainability. Our team continued to share perspectives on the strategies, solutions and investments needed to accelerate this transition. Mauro J Atalla participated on the "From Capital to Implementation: The Next Investment Opportunities in the Low-Carbon Transition" panel, hosted by EY, BrazilFoundation and David Canassa Strategy & Advisory. Catherine Stephanou of our BrainBox AI team discussed how AI and connected systems are opening new possibilities at the Carbon Newbie Summit, from improving building performance to helping data centers become better citizens of the grid. Rachael Weisman also explored the role of heat pumps in electrification during “Heat Pumps 101.” At Climate Group’s Hub Live, Emily Vesling joined “Future Factories: How Efficiency, Electrification and AI Will Remake Modern Manufacturing” to discuss approaches to improving energy performance. Jenelle Shapiro joined leaders for the launch of a new sectoral playbook at the World Economic Forum’s Industrial Solutions and Manufacturing event. Increasing energy supply has been a major focus this week, but managing demand more intelligently is just as important. Technologies available today can reduce waste, optimize existing infrastructure and help customers get more from the energy they use.

Yesterday, Mauro J Atalla, Senior Vice President and Chief Technology and Sustainability Officer, helped set the stage for an inspiring week by sharing strategies to scale sustainability at Climate Group's Opening Ceremony. Chief Communications and Marketing Officer Carrie Ruddy then hosted our third annual "Spilling the Tea on Sustainability," this year in partnership with Goals House. Moderated by Michelle Li, Founder of clever carbon, this event brought Carrie together with Alice Ashpitel of Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team and Daniella Foster of Bayer's Consumer Health Division for a candid discussion about keeping sustainability at the forefront as businesses navigate competing priorities. The conversations continued at Climate Group's Hub Live. Scott Tew, VP - Sustainability Strategy, and Helen Walter-Terrinoni, Director - Global Policy and Advocacy, joined panels to explore how businesses can respond to extreme heat and how collaboration can strengthen energy efficiency.
