We started the 2026-2027 school year off with partnerships between our communities and local schools. Our residents find so much joy in giving back and in passing on their wisdom to future generations. What an awesome way to get involved and give back. Bikers may seem tough, but have you ever met a biker’s grandma? 🏍️💪 Atria San Juan showed off its wild side with a visit from the Lifestyle Cycle Riding Group and Black Sheep Motorcycle Ministry. Red bandanas, tattoo sleeves, live music, BBQ and plenty of laughter brought a little biker flair to the community – proving that adventure and a love of good times never go out of style! 🤘

She's a rainbow. 🌈 The patio of Atria Golden Creek was filled with colorful scarves, music and smiling faces! Residents had a fantastic time during a scarf dance class, enjoying gentle movement, uplifting music and the simple joy of being together. With every graceful wave of the scarves, they celebrated the beauty of staying active.

Grandparents' Day was stuffed with love! 🧸 Leading up to the celebration, grandchildren dropped off their favorite “stuffies” to stay with residents for the week. The stuffed friends joined in on fitness classes, book clubs and even community outings – and we captured it all in photos to share with their grandchildren. On Grandparents' Day itself, families reunited for a bingo bash, picked up their stuffies and keepsake photo booklets, and enjoyed a chicken nugget and popsicle bar together. We raised our pom-poms and cheered loudly at our Great Tailgate Social Series event! 📣 Communities brought the ultimate game day vibes as residents gathered to enjoy tailgate classics, including walking nachos and dirty soda bars. The energy was high, the snacks were top-notch and the company was unbeatable. For 14 years, Atria Lincoln Place's Community Sales Director, Allison, has been a familiar, happy face for residents and her teammates. "Her energy and passion are inspiring," shares Lynn, the community's Executive Director. "I couldn't imagine our community without her. She's the best!" From the relationships Allison has built to the attention to detail she shows each day, her dedication has made a lasting impact on residents, families and fellow employees alike. 💚 Thank you, Allison, for everything you do to make your community shine!

Not everyone turns 102, and not everyone has moves like Nena! Atria Seville celebrated Nena in style for this momentous birthday. Join us in wishing her a fantastic year!

"She's the most wonderful person in the whole wide world," says Bert of Jane, his wife of 69 years. "Oh my goodness – that's the first time I've heard that," Jane laughs. "I did really good," Bert adds. "I got a wife, two kids, four grandkids, and seven great-grandkids – and they're perfect." An Air Force family, they spent years moving around, facing the challenges that come with not living near their support system and raising young children. "He was flying – gone nearly all the time – so that put a lot of responsibility on me," Jane shares. "But I think that was one of the best things that ever happened to me. It forced me to grow up." "We were just kids," Bert adds. Retirement has been kind to them, giving them time to enjoy all the leisure and fun there is to be had as part of the community at Atria San Juan. And according to Jane, their days now are a reward for a life well-lived. "We've had a good life – I feel we've been blessed."

“It is worth a return visit.” Donald summed up the experience perfectly after residents from Atria Park of Lynnbrook attended the Second Annual Short Play Festival at StrongBox Theater. The group enjoyed an afternoon of eight short comedies, plenty of laughs and time together exploring the local arts scene. Brenda called the plays “very cheesy” – but was especially happy to have her daughter along for the outing. Diane simply appreciated that, “It is great to get out on a Saturday,” while Geraldine was impressed by the actors’ ability to memorize so much. We love seeing our communities make time for local art and plenty of fun together. 🎭
