THANKFUL THURSDAY | Partnership in Action Today, we’re grateful for our longtime community partner, Papa's Pumpkin Patch. Last Saturday, Scott and Jen from Easterseals Goodwill ND volunteered at Papa’s Pumpkin Patch. Experiences like these reflect an important part of our mission: supporting people in having opportunities to participate, contribute, and be fully included in their communities. Community involvement is also deeply woven into Papa’s history. The organization works with dozens of nonprofit organizations, youth groups, neighbors, and other community partners each season, and has donated more than $1 million to charities and volunteer groups since 1983. We’re thankful for partners like Papa’s who recognize the value of bringing people together and creating opportunities for everyone to contribute. Papa’s 2026 season continues daily (12pm-7pm) through October 25 at 4205 Burnt Creek Loop, Bismarck, ND 58503. 🌎 Tomorrow, September 19, is National CleanUp Day. Across the country, volunteers will come together to remove litter from parks, trails, streets, neighborhoods, and other outdoor spaces. National CleanUp Day has grown into the nation’s largest single-day cleanup event, bringing together more than 2 million volunteers in service to their communities. That spirit of service reflects something we value at Easterseals Goodwill North Dakota: stronger communities are created when people take an active role in caring for them. Whether it’s picking up litter along your street, helping clean a local park, joining an organized cleanup, or gathering coworkers for a volunteer project, every effort contributes to a cleaner and more welcoming community.
