"For those of us old enough to remember September 11, 2001, it is hard to believe a quarter century has passed. Most of us can still remember exactly where we were when we heard the news and watched the events unfold. For many of our younger employees, September 11th is something they know only through history but its impact on our country continues today.
Today I hope we will all take a moment to remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost, the families whose lives were forever changed and the firefighters, police officers, first responders and ordinary citizens who ran toward danger to help others.
We should also remember the thousands of men and women who answered the call to serve our country in the years that followed, many of whom made the ultimate sacrifice.
One of the things I remember most about the days after 9/11 was how Americans came together. Differences seemed smaller, neighbors looked out for one another and there was a renewed appreciation for our country and for each other. Twenty five years later that message seems even more relevant today, there is far more that unites us as a country than divides us.
On behalf of Elliott Electric Supply, we honor all those we lost, all those who served and all those who continue to carry the impact of that day." — A message from EES President, Stephen Paul. ⭐
