Rexel USA has entered into an agreement to acquire Genuine Cable Group (GCG), a transformational acquisition that will strengthen Rexel USA’s position across critical, high-growth infrastructure markets With ~$1.1 billion in revenue, GCG is a leading specialty infrastructure platform delivering wire and cable, connectivity, power and engineered solutions for critical applications. Its differentiated capabilities span engineering, custom assembly, product modification, kitting, testing and rapid fulfillment, helping customers reduce installation time, navigate complexity and lower execution risk. By bringing together GCG’s technical expertise, proprietary offerings and value-added capabilities with Rexel USA’s scale, customer reach and broad electrical offering, we will be even better positioned to serve customers across critical, high-growth infrastructure markets, including data centers, power and utilities, grid modernization, communications and defense.
