Ryobi Die Casting (USA), Inc. Statement on Fatal Incident at Shelbyville Facility SHELBYVILLE, Ind. — August 8, 2026 — Ryobi Die Casting (USA), Inc., a subsidiary of Ryobi Limited (Japan), confirms that one of our team members died following an incident at our Shelbyville facility on the evening of August 7. Our deepest condolences go out to the employee's family, friends, and colleagues during this incredibly difficult time. Out of respect for the family, we are not releasing further personal details. The safety of our associates is our highest priority. We are fully cooperating with OSHA and local authorities as they conduct their review. We are also conducting our own internal review of the incident. We are providing support resources, including counseling services, to our associates and their families as we work through this together as a Ryobi team. We ask for privacy for the employee's family and our team members during this time. We will provide additional information as it becomes available.
