An inspiring week at the annual Synopsys Inc Innovation Leadership Conference (SILC), where we brought together senior technical leaders across the company to showcase, recognize and accelerate innovation across Synopsys while fostering collaboration amongst engineers, researchers and business leaders.   From AI-powered engineering and physics-based simulation to digital engineering, advanced design solutions, and emerging technologies such as quantum computing, our teams continue to push the boundaries of what is possible. The creativity and technical excellence on display made selecting this year's inaugural CEO Innovation Award winners especially meaningful.    My thanks to our outstanding guest speakers: Shankar Krishnamoorthy for an inspiring keynote, and to Sassine Ghazi and Aart de Geus for their thoughtful discussion on innovation, reinvention, and Synopsys' next chapter.    I want to also thank our external speakers in the Customer Panel, “AI in Chip Design” with Omkaram Nalamasu, CTO, Applied Materials; Rev Lebaredian, VP GM of Physical AI, NVIDIA; Ruchir Puri, Chief Scientist, IBM Research; and Ralph Wittig, Corporate Fellow and Head of AMD Research, for a truly interactive panel.   A special thank you to SILC co-chairs Sathya V Venkatasubramanian and Tim Tsuei, whose leadership made this event possible. And congrats to all of our presenters, poster authors, and CEO Innovation Award recipients for helping move Synopsys forward.

  • While technical complexity is certainly a challenge in chip design, a different kind of limit is now coming into focus: 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆. As development cycles compress and design demands grow, the industry is nearing a point where engineering resources become the limiting factor. In the first installment of a four-part blog series exploring the future of autonomous engineering, we examine why sustaining innovation will require more than incremental productivity gains and how #AgenticAI could help redefine chip design workflows: https://bit.ly/4rmmmwR

  • The momentum across Southeast Asia continues to grow. 🙌   SNUG Vietnam and SNUG Singapore 2026 brought together customers, partners, and Synopsys experts for a week of knowledge sharing, collaboration, and technical innovation.   Attendees explored the latest advances in digital implementation, signoff, verification, analog and mixed-signal design, simulation, hardware verification, and Synopsys.ai, while connecting with peers across the semiconductor ecosystem.   Thank you to our customers, speakers, partners, and event teams for helping make both events a success. We are excited to continue driving innovation together across the region. #SNUG2026
